EMMERDALE'S horror summer fire will kill at least one Dales resident as Tracy Metcalfe is left trapped in the blaze.
The fire at the Sharma sweet factory is caused by two Dales residents, failing to realise Tracy - played by Amy Walsh - is stuck in a stockroom.

Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw revealed: "We’ve got our big week coming up at the end of the month with ‘Emmerdeadville’, as we’re calling it, as the backdrop to the drama that’s going to be kicking off.
"As the fire takes hold there’s a huge explosion. Will Tracy get out in time?
"I can’t tell you, but I think it’s safe to say there are some heart-breaking scenes ahead for our villagers and Tracy’s life is never going to be the same again.”
The show’s Executive producer Jane Hudson said of the summer storylines: “Not everybody will make it out alive, whether that’s one, two, three or four, you’re just going to have to see.”

Another major storyline coming up involves Robert Sugden, with bosses hinting the character could die.
Robert - played by Ryan Hawley - is still full of fury at the rapist who attacked his sister Victoria, and it looks like he’s prepared to risk everything to make him pay.
Laura revealed: “Robert is intent on getting his revenge at any cost, even if it kills him.
“Victoria’s evil rapist Lee is still pursuing her, so Victoria decides that the only way that she’s ever going to live happily and peacefully with the baby, is if she leaves the village forever.

“As her brother finds this out, he’s obviously devastated. He doesn’t want his sister to leave at all and as Lee piles the pressure on both of them, Robert is pushed to the very edge.”
Ryan’s on-screen partnership with co-star Danny Miller, who plays his screen husband Aaron Dingle, has seen the couple affectionately dubbed Robron by devoted fans and has won them countless awards.

But last month Robron fans went into mourning when it was revealed that Ryan, 33, was quitting the show.
Laura Shaw said: “It’s been a fantastic five years with Ryan and we’re going to miss him dearly.
"We’ve got a bit of time left with him on screen, but it does mean that going forward our beloved Robron are going to be parted.”

Emmerdale's Robert Sugden disowns sister Victoria for keeping her rapist's baby
One of the most popular screen couples in Emmerdale’s history, Robert and Aaron have had a rocky road to happiness after getting together while Robert was engaged to Chrissie White.
Their relationship has survived murder, kidnap and even Aaron’s stint in prison, during which Robert got his former girlfriend Rebecca White pregnant after a one-night stand.
Laura Shaw said: “We’ve seen in the past what happens with Aaron when he unravels, so I think there are going to be really interesting times ahead as we see him parted from his beloved Robert and watch him unravel. It’s going to be explosive.”
