Coronation Street spoilers: Sinead Tinker and Daniel Osbourne face their worst fears as she gets her scan results TONIGHT
SINEAD Tinker and Daniel Osbourne face up to the agonising prospect of the blonde machinist dying on tonight's episode of Coronation Street.
The mum of one heads to the hospital for an MRI scan to find out if the chemotherapy treatment she underwent for her cervical cancer has worked.
As they sit in the waiting room together, Sinead tells Daniel that he needs to deal with the fact that she could die.
But her boyfriend tells her that he couldn’t cope without her as she reminds him that he has to because he’s got a son now.
They are finally called in for Sinead’s results and are both nervous as the doctor pulls her scan up on the screen.
It's good news though and the oncologist reveals that the treatment has worked.
He tells them that the tumour appears to have shrunk and there’s no evidence to suggest it’s spread further in her body.
While Daniel is visibly delighted by the news, Sinead isn’t as happy as she probably should be considering she’s been told she’s going to be okay.
Later we find out why as she confesses that she will always be terrified that the cancer will come back at any moment.
She reveals that from now on she will think every ache and pain is the cancer coming back before breaking down.
Sinead getting the all clear will be a surprise to Corrie fans who have been convinced that she was going to die after actress Katie McGlynn quit the cobbles.
And actor Rob Mallard who plays Daniel revealed his character wouldn’t cope without her.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, Rob said: “I don’t think he’d do well at all.

"I think he’s one of those people who thinks that there’s only one person out there for everyone and if you find it, then lose it, it’s gone. He's very dramatic, isn’t he?
"He needs to give his head a wobble."
Later Daniel will surprise Sinead with a locket and tell her it’s about time they got married legally, leaving her delighted.
