NATALIE Imbruglia has revealed she's pregnant with her first child after using a sperm donor to conceive through IVF.
The Australian singer, 44, announced the news on Instagram this afternoon as well as telling fans she's penned a new record deal.
The Torn hitmaker shared a picture of her baby bump and joked that she hadn't "swallowed a watermelon."
She wrote: "I’m expecting my first child this Autumn. For those of you that know me, this has been something I have wanted for a very long time and I’m blessed that this is possible with the help of IVF and a sperm donor-I won’t be saying anything more on that publicly.
"I’m so excited about this next adventure... a new album and I’m going to be a mum!”
Natalie also revealed she's spent the last 18 months writing new music on her way to penning her new deal with BMG.
The actress and musician was born in Sydney, Australia and became a naturalised British citizen on 28 February 2013.
She dated Friends actor David Schwimmer in the late 90s, and married Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns on New Year’s Eve 2003. However, they announced their divorce in January 2008, saying they lived too far apart.
Earlier this year Nick Knowles hinted he had a fling with Natalie.
He claimed he grew close to the stunning Aussie actress while they were in Scotland together and refused to deny that they had hooked up when probed by Chris Moyles on his podcast.

He told the Radio X presenter: “I wouldn’t describe it as a thing . . . well, we were friends. It was a long time ago. She’s very beautiful and very bright and very funny.
“We went up to Edinburgh to do the G8 summit – she was part of the Comic Relief show. We’ve done various stuff.”
In the early 1990s, Imbruglia played Beth Brennan in Neighbours. She was on the show from 1992–1994.
Three years after leaving the the Australian soap opera, she kicked off her pop career with a cover of the Ednaswap song Torn.
In 2011, she became a judge on the second season of the Australian version of The X Factor. However, she didn’t return in 2011.
Natalie has also appeared in the films Johnny English, Closed for Winter and Underdogs.
She has sold 10 million records worldwide, and is believed to have a net worth of around £10 million.
