Lauren Goodger confirms she IS returning to Towie for reunion with original cast

LAUREN Goodger has confirmed she is returning to Towie for a ten-year reunion.

The 32-year-old was a member of the original cast in 2010 before departing in series six – but is planning a sensational return alongside some other famous faces.

When asked if she was doing it, she told The Sun Online at the launch of Celebs Go Dating:  “Definitely. I'd love to do it. They need to do it. I would 100 per cent do it. It is light-hearted now.”

Discussing if she will be returning full-time, she teased: “I don't know what I can say but maybe. I have dipped in and out and done cameos and stuff.

“There are a few things I am talks in after this. Yes, either come back full-time or do some other shows.”

The star added: “This is the first time in my life I have been on my own and not been in love. I am actually quite happy at the minute and I feel quite strong. This is a good time to come back.”

During her time on the show, Lauren was famously engaged to Mark Wright and viewers loved watching their tumultuous relationship.

Last month The Sun Online revealed ITV bosses were in talks with the original cast members to return for a ten-year special.

Amy Childs has also confirmed the show is in the “pipeline”, while Lydia Bright revealed she would be up for it.

Mark Wright is also thought to be making a comeback after returning from his high profile job in the US.

Amy recently shared a picture of them both and teased fans: “The King and Queen of Towie! Exciting times ahead , let’s do this .... .”

A TV insider said of the reunion show: “Towie’s ten-year anniversary is coming up next year and bosses want to mark it in some way.

“It been a cultural phenomenon really and some of the original cast members have gone down in reality TV history.

“No one is entirely sure what they will do or if any of the cast mates will agree to come back but at the moment it’s a case of never say never!”
