Emmerdale spoilers: Kerry Wyatt is questioned by police TONIGHT over factory fire and struggles to hide her guilt
Kerry Wyatt will feel the pressure in Emmerdale this week as she’s hauled in by police over the factory fire that killed Frank Clayton.
In tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, Kerry will be seen warning daughter, Amy, that they need to act normal to avoid the finger of suspicion being pointed at them.
But when the factory safe is opened and the charity money found gone, Kerry struggles to hide her guilt.
Later in the week, she begins to crumble when the police take her in for questioning and holes begin to appear in her story. Kerry then accidentally drops someone else in the frame for starting the fire while she tries to cover her own tracks.
Meanwhile it’s looking like Frank will be blamed for the fire as actress Amy Walsh who plays his daughter, Tracy, in the ITV soap revealed her character would have a big storyline as she tries to prove his innocence.
Amy, 32, told Digital Spy: "It's 100% the most challenged I've ever been. I've done a lot of crying before in plays and obviously in Emmerdale you've seen Tracy cry a lot.
"This is another extreme. Tracy is absolutely broken in the aftermath of this. She's completely in turmoil and driven to prove that Frank has nothing to do with why the fire started.
"So it's a massive storyline for her, with the fallout of it all and clearing his name. She 100% believes that it's not him and not his fault.
"As you saw, she was trapped in a cupboard and he saved her, so she's got the guilt of that as well. She feels like it should have been her and it was her fault that he died. The reason she was in the cupboard was to meet Billy for a quickie, which just makes things even worse for her."
Emmerdale fans know that the fire was actually caused by Kerry and Amy as they tried to delete CCTV showing Kerry opening the safe and taking the money raised for the children’s hospital by Bernice Blackstock’s Wild West fundraiser.
