Ben Foden marries girlfriend of two weeks just one year after his split from Una Healy
BEN Foden has married his girlfriend of two weeks just a year after his divorce from Una Healy.
The 34-year-old love rat - who admitted to cheating on his ex-wife before their split - thanked his ex Una for her "blessing" as he shared pictures of the secret wedding in America.
Ben married New Yorker Jackie Belanoff Smith on board a luxury yacht in Nantucket, Massachusetts.
In a relaxed ceremony in front of pals, Jackie wore a yellow dress while Ben dressed casually in a dark blue shirt with sunglasses and a pair of white chinos.
And the rugby star - who now plays for Rugby United New York - is sure the stunning blonde will be a "great step mum" to his two children from his six-year marriage to former The Saturdays singer Una.
Taking to Instagram to share the wedding photos, Ben attempted to explain his whirlwind romance.
"I met a girl who seriously swept me off my feet and in a time of hardship showed me love, a deep devoted love," he wrote.
"People will say we are mad or crazy or even fools, as @snackyjax and I had only been dating seriously for a little over 2 weeks before deciding to get married.
"But when someone like her comes in to your life, why would I wait?"
Jackie has since warned the love rat what she will do if he cheats on her.
Talking about the marriage in posts seen by the , Jackie said she believes Ben will be faithful but will "unleash" keyboard warriors on him if he strays.
"I really don’t think he will!!! Like nothing in my gut gives me that impression. But if he does, I know exactly who I’ll unleash on him hahaha," she wrote.
Another person suggested taking bets on how long their marriage will last and Jackie joked: "I'm in let's do this."
Meanwhile Ben thanked his "beautiful" ex-wife for giving her blessing to the union.
"The people who needed to know, such as close family and friends were told before anyone else and they are happy for me including my beautiful X wife @unahealy who I love even more for her blessing," he said.
He also praised his new bride and said his "heart is full" as he embarks on married life.
"Jackie is the greatest human being I’ve ever come across - she’s beautiful inside and out, intelligent, charming, funny, generous, kind, gentle, energetic the list goes on," he said. "She will be a great step mum to Aoife and Tadhg and offers me a future I can’t wait to explore with her.
"My heart is full and I honestly couldn’t be happier, so those that want to bring negativity or try and tear me down go ahead.
"My life is great and I hope you all will one day feel happiness like i feel while I write this caption. I love you @snackyjax I can’t wait to see where our lives lead together you brought excitement and joy to my life and I couldn’t be prouder having stand at my side as Mrs Foden."
Last night one of Jackie's friends shared photos from the ceremony to her social media page.
In the snap, both Jackie and the former England star are grinning as they hold their hands in front of their bodies.
Another guest can be seen in a slinky gown, filming the moment on their own phone.
Ben did not mention a wedding on his own Instagram account yesterday, but shared a photo of himself and his rumoured bride walking along a pier in the same clothes from the ceremony with the caption: "Yesterday was a pretty special day."
He followed up with another photo from the day that read: "Found a good one."
In this snap he is embracing Jackie from behind as he plants a kiss on her cheek.
A final post of the boat speeding through the sea was captioned: "And just like that, it's over. Bye Nantucket, until next year!"
This is the first time that Ben has posted about Jackie, with it looking as though they went Instagram-official as they tied the knot.
The love rat was previously married to The Saturdays' star Una, from whom he split last July after he cheated on her.
The pair married in 2012 and share two children, seven-year-old Aoife and four-year-old Tadhg.
Ben admitted that he had cheated on the singer in an interview with .

He said at the time: "At the moment anything that’s published about me is never very good and pretty rightly so because I was the one who committed adultery.
"At the same time, it wasn’t the only reason for our divorce to go through. It’s not ideal, but we’re very amicable, we’re getting through it, we’re not the first people in the world to get divorced."
Una has since moved on with Irish sportsman David Breen, who she went public with in December.
