Emmerdale spoilers: Kim Tate threatens to fire the factory staff after fatal blaze killed Frank Clayton
KIM Tate looks set to make her mark on the factory in Emmerdale next week when she tells Jai Sharma she’s determined to review the company’s staffing levels.
The move will no doubt leave the factory workers fearing for their jobs so soon after the devastating blaze that killed Frank Clayton last week.
Kim – played by Claire King in the ITV soap - has had her eye on the factory since learning Rishi Sharma was in financial trouble and has offered to buy it to ease the family’s money woes.
But who’s on the chopping board as Kim takes the reins?
Emmerdale fans were devastated to see the blaze take Frank’s life in shocking scenes as he rescued his daughter Tracy Metcalfe.
After breaking into the room, he wrapped a coat around his daughter and sent her out of the building from which she emerged coughing and spluttering.
She was greeted by sister Vanessa, Megan, factory owner Jai and Kerry and Amy - who accidentally caused the blaze by sabotaging the CCTV.
But heartache was just around the corner.
Frank – Michael Praed – appeared, walking casually away from the inferno towards the relieved crowd.
However, the joy was short-lived as a large explosion propelled him viciously into the side of a van.
Despite the paramedics' best efforts they were unable to revive him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tracy screamed at them: "Please you've got to keep going. Please, you can't stop, he saved my life.
"Please dad. Don't go, not like this. I didn't even say thanks for saving me."
Vanessa rushed to her, saying: "He's gone sweetheart, he's gone."
