EMMERDALE fans have accused the soap of two massive blunders as the hunt for the factory fire-starters continues.
The devastating inferno claimed the life of Frank Clayton in last week's chilling episode - but it seems police are having a hard time working out that it was caused by Kerry and Amy Wyatt.
The mother-daughter duo caused the blaze as they tried to delete CCTV showing Kerry opening the safe and taking the money raised for the children’s hospital by Bernice Blackstock’s Wild West fundraiser.
And viewers aren't impressed with the authorities' poor investigation skills and have already pointed out a number of ways they could have caught the culprits.
One fan wrote: "Oh for goodness sakes!! In reality forensics would do their magic to find evidence & Kerry & Amy would get done for their involvement in the fire & stealing the Charity money at the factory. And hopefully get jailed & we would be rid of them from the soap! ."
Another tweeted: "Amy and Kerry weren’t wearing gloves when they broke the CCTV though?Fingerprints evidence? ."
A third wrote: " er, fingerprints ladies, fingerprints!"
Another raged: "Kerry’s fingerprints are all over that safe, dumb or what... ."
Last week's heart-wrenching scenes saw brave Frank selflessly enter the burning building to free daughter Tracy from a store room where she was waiting to surprise boyfriend Billy.
After breaking into the room, he wrapped a coat around his daughter and sent her out of the building from which she emerged coughing and spluttering.

Frank later appeared, walking casually away from the inferno towards the relieved crowd.
However, the joy was shortlived as a large explosion propelled him viciously into the side of a van.
Despite the paramedics' best efforts, they were unable to revive him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
