Emmerdale fans horrified as Robert lies to Aaron about facing life in prison for Lee’s attack
EMMERDALE fans were left horrified tonight as Robert Sugden lied to Aaron Dingle about facing life in prison for Lee's attack.
In the first half of tonight's double bill, the police arrived at the couple's home to tell them Lee - who had raped Robert's sister Victoria - had woken up in hospital and said Robert's attack was unprovoked.

Their arrival couldn't have come at a worse time, as the woman Robron had hoped would act as a surrogate was visiting to find out what was going on with them.
Hearing the news, she told Aaron after Robert had headed to the police station that she wouldn't be able to go through with the surrogacy, scuppering their plans to become parents.
Over at the station, Robert's solicitor finally arrived to tell him Lee's version of events meant he was looking at a charge of GBH with Intent.
Robert didn't seem phased initially, failing to realise the charge is much more severe than GBH alone.

"How long are we talking?" he asked.
His solicitor replied: "The maximum sentence for GBH with Intent is life imprisonment."
Robert was floored by the news, and after being released from questioning in the second of tonight's double bill, he took his time returning home to Aaron to work out what he was going to say.
Arriving home, Robert was calm and lied to Aaron and their families that he was only facing a charge of GBH which carries a much shorter prison sentence.
Hugging him, Aaron asked: "We can handle a year can't we?"
Failing to tell his love the truth, Robert replied: "Yeah of course we can."
