Speaking to , Sandra said: “My last day will be emotional. There’s definitely going to be a wobbly lip!"
Although Sandra says she is unsure whether she will ever return to Emmerdale, bosses have decided not to kill Jessie off in her exit story line.
Sandra added: "Thank God they’ve left the door open, I’m very grateful for that."
Sandra's character has certainly had a bumpy ride during her time in Emmerdale.
Since her first on-screen appearance in 2017, Jessie has found herself being both held hostage and shot.
Currently the head teacher is suspended after the grooming scandal involving Maya Stepney.
After the news of her exit was revealed, Sandra took to Twitter and confirmed her debut appearance in Thunder Girls will happen next month.
