Celebs Go Dating fans claim Lauren Goodger’s date looks just like Towie ex Mark Wright
CELEBS Go Dating viewers were left "surprised" after Lauren Goodger's date bared a striking resemblance to ex Mark Wright.
Viewers couldn't help but comment on the similarities between Mark and Lauren's latest date, Dan.
The former Towie stars, who were once engaged, shared a tumultuous relationship before calling it quits after 12 years of dating.
And now the 32-year-old Essex star is hoping to find love again on the dating show, which saw her enjoying a romantic strawberry picking date with the Mark look-a-like on last night's episode.
A viewer said: "Hmmm.. what a surprise... Lauren likes the guy who looks like Mark Wright..."
One wrote: "Lauren’s date looks a bit like Mark Wright."
Fans of the show also claimed the Essex star still isn't over Mark, 32, who is now happily married to actress Michelle Keegan.
One viewer said: "You know I feel for Lauren I don't think she ever got over Mark Wright's heartbreak. I hope she finds someone special she deserves it."
After hitting it off on the date, Lauren agreed to go on a second date with Dan.
The episode comes days after Lauren slammed Mark's marriage to Michelle as "weird".
After Lauren joined the E4 dating show, a source revealed to The Sun Online that Mark had concerns about their past being brought back up, sharing: "He would prefer it to remain in the past rather than being splashed over the headlines again."
After Mark, Lauren’s next long term relationship was with Jake McClean, who she dated from 2012 until 2013.
Lauren then began dating Joey Morrison in 2016 - while he was serving his sixteen years sentence for possession of a firearm, kidnap and blackmail.
