Towie’s Harry Derbidge is engaged to Dean Rowland as cousin Amy Childs shares snaps from surprise engagement party
FORMER Towie star Harry Derbidge has become engaged to Dean Rowland – as his cousin Amy Childs shares snaps from their surprise engagement party.
The 25-year-old and his new fiance took to Instagram today to share a happy snap from their glitzy bash of them showing off their engagement rings.
He captioned the image: “We’re getting MARRIED. I’m still in shock thank you everyone who was apart of our special day. love you more then anything @mrdeanrowland.”
His cousin – and fellow former Towie star- Amy Childs also took to Instagram to share snaps from the party.
Alongside one of Harry grinning as he showed off his engagement ring, she wrote: “He is getting married. Congratulations to my beautiful cousin and @mrdeanrowland on your engagement, 8 weeks of knowing and organising the best engagement party for him!
“Thank you so much for everyone who come.”
Having played a key part in the planning of the surprise bash, Amy obviously wanted to share as much detail as possible with her followers, filming the moment Dean guided a blindfolded Harry into the garden to surprise him with their nearest and dearest.
She wrote: “This video is everything, trying to get everything organised for his big day!”
The 29-year-old also revealed her daughter Polly, two, will be bridesmaid at the wedding.
Alongside a cute snap of her little girl in Harry’s arms in front of big D and H light up letters, she wrote: “Can’t wait for polly to be bridesmaid
“You both make me so happy, thank you for making me apart of your day. Thank you so much @lightswithgrace for your light up letters and flowerwall.
“And of course the amazing Ballons by @theballoonsquadevents was amazing.”
Amy also made sure the guests had plenty to eat and drink, hiring a tuktuk which dished out prosecco and cocktails all night.
Also in attendance was former Towie star Frankie Essex and current cast member Demi Sims.
Harry appeared on the ITVBe show from 2010-2011 before returning briefly in 2014.
