ALEXA Lauenburger is the incredible child who went on to win the German version of Britain's Got Talent with an exciting dog act.

She caused controversy on her season after being accused of not training the dogs herself, but now she’s back on TV tonight to prove her talent in Britain’s very own The Champions on ITV.

Who is Alexa Lauenburger?

Alexa Lauenburger auditioned for the 11th series of Germany’s Das Supertalent, which kicked off on September 16, 2017.

By December 2017, Alexa had won the series with the help of a dozen dogs, but she was caught up in controversy after her father Wolfgang Lauenburger also appeared on German TV with a similar performance.

Viewers accused the youngster of giving the impression  she had trained the pooches, when in fact it was her dad,

On his official Facebook page, Wolfgang stressed that his daughter never claimed to have been the only person to coach the animals,

He said Alexa raised three of the dogs on her own, adding that because of how well trained they were, he decided to also use him for his performance on German television.

According to , he said he performed the exact same number as his daughter, because the dogs could not simply learn new tricks overnight.

Wolfgang concluded that Alexa deserved her title because, regardless of people’s opinions, it’s a talent just to handle a great number of dogs and make them obey during a live show.

How did Alexa do on BGT: The Champions?

Alexa and her pet pooches took part in week two of BGT: The Champions.

They impressed so much the hosting duo Ant and Dec pressed the Golden Buzzer.

This sent Alexa straight through to the grand final.

She is joined in the final by superfan vote winners MerseyGirls - a dance troupe from Liverpool.

Viewers were impressed with her doggy conga line.

When does Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions start?
