Emmerdale spoilers: Jessie and Marlon’s marriage in danger after Mandy catches her cheating with ex Al
IT looks like Marlon Dingle’s marriage to Jessie Grant will be a rather short-lived affair after his cousin Mandy bursts in on the former headteacher snogging her ex, Al Chapman. Oops.
Jessie – played by departing star Sandra Marvin – is fed up of the way the kids at the after-school club have been treating her following her suspension from her high-flying job as headteacher of Hotten High.
In last night's episode, Emmerdale viewers saw Al interfere when Jessie complained about being treated like a babysitter.
While Marlon – Mark Charnock - attempted to encourage his wife in her new venture, Al tried to make Jessie see she was underestimating herself.
Al pointed out that Jessie – who married Marlon last Christmas – would always be miserable unless she got back to what she’s good at.
Jessie then lamented that there was no way she could while she was still suspended for her negligence regarding paedophile teacher Maya Stepney at her school.
Al then revealed he has a friend on the board of a private school which is looking for a new head.
Jessie’s interest was immediately piqued before Al revealed the job was in Dubai.
While she laughed the suggestion off, Al then sweet-talked Jessie with the promise of a salary that would let her see her kids every few weeks.
He also smugly pointed out that Jessie’s husband, Marlon, could be a chef anywhere in the world.

Jessie is now left pondering her future as her relationship with Al develops even more twists later this week.
The pair end up reminiscing over past times during a village football match with Al eventually making a move to kiss Jessie - and another one later!
Jessie reciprocates the second kiss and the pair are mid-snog when Mandy Dingle catches them red-handed along with son, Vinny.
So is this the beginning of the end for Jessie and Marlon’s marriage?
It was revealed that Mandy – played by Lisa Riley in the hit ITV soap – would be returning for good earlier this summer.
She already returned for a week earlier this year where she left Paddy Kirk in turmoil after revealing his mother had had an affair with wrestler Bear Wolf.
