EMMERDALE fans, the long awaited return of Mandy Dingle and her son Vinny is happening TONIGHT.
Yep, the feisty Dingle is back for good this time and she’s bringing a whole lot of trouble with her. Here’s what to expect from the Dales icon…
Mandy catches Jessie cheating
Mandy's return to the village perhaps comes at the worst possible time for Jessie Dingle, who’s married to her cousin, Marlon.
The former headteacher is busy catching up with her ex-husband, Al – and by catching up we mean snogging the face off – when Mandy comes barging in. Awkward.
But will Mandy blab to Marlon and possibly end his marriage?
Well, we know that Sandra Marvin who plays cheating Jessie is set to depart from the soap very soon, so it looks like heartbreak is inevitable for poor Marlon.
Mandy and Vinny have a big secret
During their brief stint in the village earlier this year, Mandy dropped the bombshell on her ex-husband Paddy Kirk that the man he thought was his dad, isn't actually his biological father.
But it looks like she and her son have even more pressing matters on their mind...
In January fans saw Vinny ask his mum why she hadn’t told the Dingles the real reason they had returned - with Mandy replying that it wasn’t the right time. So what’s their secret?
Mandy’s been on the rob
We know from spoilers that Mandy will be caught out frantically searching for a bag by Chas - who is shocked to see it stuffed with cash and casino chips.
So where has Mandy got all this cash from?
We also know that she’ll clash with Aaron Dingle when he says he’ll help her get the chips exchanged.
But she’ll be horrified when he tells her he’s taking a cut for commission before ‘accidentally’ throwing the money into a burning bin at the scrap yard. Uh-oh.

She’ll clash with Robert
It’s not just Aaron who Mandy will be locking horns with. Actress Lisa Riley has confessed that Mandy is set for some big tensions with his husband, Robert Sugden.
Speaking to Digital Spy about who else Mandy might clash with, Lisa said: “Robert, massively. There's no love lost between Mandy and Robert at all.
"He recognises the schemer in her, but she recognises it in him also! With Mandy and Robert, it's like, 'Don't kid a kidder'. They're too alike. She sees through him and he certainly sees through her.”
Sadly it looks like this clash of the scheming titans will be short-lived as Ryan Hawley, who plays Robert, is bowing out of the ITV soap later this year.
Mandy Dingle left Emmerdale 18 years ago – apart from appearing for a short stint in January 2019 with her teenage son, Vinny.
