Adele is swerving trademark ballads and relaunching her career with an up-tempo ‘banger’ about her divorce

ADELE has made a career out of heartbreaking ballads – but she is looking on the bright side when it comes to her next record.

I’ve heard she will finally return with her first music for four years in the coming months.

And it will be surprisingly upbeat despite singing about her relationship with Simon Konecki from whom she is getting divorced.

Adele has been hard at work on the fourth album for several months, and has sent round an as-yet untitled track to record company bosses which is expected to be her comeback single.

A music industry insider said: “The song is upbeat and is all about Adele’s relationship with her ex-husband Simon.

"But it’s optimistic, reflective of the good times and about learning to move on from them and make new memories by yourself.

“It has been cathartic for her to put her feelings into her music. Fans can expect to hear personal details on her album.

“All being well, the song should be out in November but she is still working on everything.”

The Brit favourite has been out of the public eye since June 2017, when she finished her 121-date world tour across Europe, the US and Australia, which included two shows at London’s Wembley Stadium.

She has been working with Mark Ronson and OneRepublic's frontman Ryan Tedder , who have helped make a handful of her tracks in the past.

She has also been back in the studio with well-regarded producers Paul Epworth, who worked on her last two albums, and Jim Abbiss , who had imput on her first two records.

The mum of one officially filed for divorce from Simon last week, five months after announcing their separation.

Her most recent album, 25, was released in 2015 and includes the hits Hello and When We Were Young.

It has sold more than 22million copies worldwide.

In total, she has shifted around 60million albums.

No pressure then.

Nic sex tape lies

NICOLE Scherzinger has probably not felt this freaked out since Rylan Clark-Neal cried in her lap on The X Factor in 2012.

Pranksters hacked the talent show judge’s Instagram at the weekend, posting a clearly fake nude picture of her with an apparent sex tape on offer.

At the time the post was uploaded, Nicole was believed to be asleep, having earlier enjoyed a night at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, where she looked regal in this gold strapless dress and matching clutch bag.

Nicole knows how to keep it classy.

Limp Lennon

HIS dad Liam has played in front of millions around the world with OASIS – but Lennon Gallagher has a long way to go.

The model performed with his band Tunnelsound to a crowd of around 20 in the Fox & Firkin pub in Lewisham, South East London last week.

An onlooker said: “He did a 20-minute instrumental set, with him just playing guitar, no vocals, backed up by other band members.

"Rather embarrassingly, there were only like 20 people watching. In comparison to his dad, it’s quite a dramatic difference.”

He’s doing it the old-school way and working his way up, fair play.
