GOGGLEBOX fans have called for sisters Ellie and Izzie Warner to be axed from the show over their 'disgusting' #MeToo game.

The sisters came under fire during last night's episode after Ellie admitted she and her friends made up a ‘tag’ game that was inspired by the movement.

The controversial game involved her and her friends chasing each other around and grabbing each other’s "boobs or bum", then calling out "me too" when they were caught.

But viewers were left outraged and now want the two women to be axed from the hit Channel 4 show.

As soon as the comment was made, fans took to Twitter to share their anger.

One wrote: "Those sisters are disgusting. One suggests sticking a k**b in a gob to shut someone up and the other makes a grab a boob game out of the me too movement. They should be pulled off air. I don’t offend easily but those two are vile."

Another wrote: "Can’t actually believe that woman on Gogglebox taking the p**s of the Me Too movement with her pals, chasing and grabbing each other’s breasts and shouting “me too” whenever they caught each other."

One ranted: "The two sisters on #Gogglebox are so annoying. Why are they still on the show? Who makes a game out of #MeToo? Ellie just come across as stupid. Both sisters think it’s clever to say such stupid stuff to get headlines."

Ellie was previously in hot water with viewers, with some even reporting her to the RSPCA for shoving her dog off the sofa.

And a fan added: "Ellie making a “joke” about the me too movement… after the way she treated her dog, why is she still on?"

The #MeToo movement started in 2017 when women from all over the world have come forward to share their story of being sexually harassed.

They have done it on social media using the hashtag "Me Too", which aims to show the magnitude of sexual assault.

The hashtag started trending worldwide after a call to action from actress Alyssa Milano.

It was in the wake of Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein's downfall over of allegations of sexual misconduct spanning decades.
