Paul Hollywood’s ex wife Alex calls divorce ‘the most difficult thing’ and says she ‘won’t even consider’ new romance following their split
PAUL Hollywood's estranged wife Alex "won't even consider" a new romance following her split from the Bake Off star.
The chef, 54, claimed she won't be on the lookout for love until her divorce is finalised - despite her ex moving on with 24-year-old Summer Monteys-Fullam.
Opening up to , Alex explained: "Until that's complete, I won't even consider it. This is time for me, now.
"I haven't been me for so many years because, like a lot of women, I lost my sense of self and gave myself to everyone else.
"I'm heading in a different direction to the one I'd anticipated, but I'm enjoying the ride and feel excited about the future. I am in a good place and really excited about what's ahead."
Despite divorce giving Alex a new lease of life, she admitted it's still "the most difficult thing" to go through.
She is set to do battle over Paul's £10million fortune later this year after The Sun revealed she has been advised she is entitled to half his £10.5million fortune.
She's also been assured she will keep their £2.4million marital home in Kent.
A source said: "Alex's lawyers have been forensically poring over these latest accounts."
Alex was left heartbroken when she split from Paul in 2017.

Their breakup came after Paul, 54, met horse enthusiast Summer after arranging a birthday party for Alex at the bar where she worked.
The pair began dating and she quickly moved in to his £845,000 Kent farmhouse.
But The Sun Online exclusively revealed Summer dumped Paul in July after he asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement to prevent her from discussing their relationship.
Paul and wife Alex first split in 2013 when the TV judge had an affair with his American Baking Competition co-star Marcela Valladolid.
Alex quickly filed for divorce but the pair reconciled after Paul called the affair "the biggest mistake" of his life.
