Amy Childs says a 15-year-old threatened to stab her to death at her salon
AMY Childs was terrified for her life after a teenager threatened to kill her at her salon.
The 29-year-old – who shot to fame on The Only Way Is Essex in 2010 – was left fearing the worst after a 15-year-old follower threatened to stab her while she was at work.
Speaking about the ordeal as part of the #turnofftrolls campaign, she said: “Two years after appearing on TOWIE, I had a boy of just 15 abuse me badly on Twitter.
“He said he was going to come to my salon and kill me, so I had to get the police involved. It was so scary.
“He said if I was at my salon at 12 o’clock he was going to stab me.”
Amy had tried to block the social media user to avoid receiving his terrifying messages, but he would make another account, which is when she decided to take further action.
She recalled: “I’d blocked him on line, but hen he’d create another account.
“The police interviewed him. They told me he was a foster child and that he’d previously held up his nan and granddad at knife point.
“He apparently told the police, ‘I don’t like Amy, I want to kill her.’ He was given a caution.”
The Sun Online has contacted Amy’s representative for comment.
Amy went on to reveal her ex-boyfriend Bradley Wright – who she has eldest child Polly with – is back behind bars after being sent down for arson.
But the reality star “wasn’t shocked” by the news, as the builder previously served time for both theft and handling stolen goods.
He is now awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty at Basildon Crown Court to arson, dishonesty receiving stolen goods and dangerous driving.
The single mum – who also has a son from a separate relationship with ex Ritchie – is not letting that get her down as she prides herself at looking at the “positive in everything”.
She said: “I’m now looking at life as a single mum. It’s sad, but I’m a strong person and we’ll be fine.
“I always look at the positive in everything and the positive is the kids.”
