She also has a brother, Jason, who appeared on the the show when she took Arie home to meet her family.

Jason confronted Arie in their home and asked about his reputation, he even went as far as calling Arie a Playboy.

However, Jason's intimidation did not last long because as soon as Arie said he could see himself with Tia for the rest of his life, and that he may be in love, Jason backed down.

What happened to Tia Booth's father?

On April 12, 2021, Tia announced that her father, Kenny, had been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer back in March.

"Although not curable, we are all thankful it’s treatable with Chemo," Tia shared with fans.

"Dad said it was boring, but he had a tv, ice water& a recliner so he had it made, if you wonder why I handle stress with humor, there it is."

"Hoping for minimal side effects and that he’ll handle treatment like a champ-so far so good!" she continued.

On June 10, Tia updated her fans on her father's condition in honor of Father's Day and revealed that his cancer was "shrinking in multiple places."
