What happened between boohooMAN and DaBaby?
RAPPER DaBaby is under hot water after making “homophobic” comments on stage during his Rolling Loud concert set.
After his explicit rant regarding HIV and "sucking d**k," DaBaby has been dragged by the LGBTQ community and fellow singers and Elton John.
"Ladies, if your p***y smell like water, put a cellphone light them up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d**k in the parking lot, put your cellphone light up. Keep it real."
has since been ripped for spreading misinformation about HIV and AIDS, alongside stigmatizing the illness.
Now fashion brand boohooMAN has distanced themselves from DaBaby less than a month after collaborating on a summer collection.
“boohooMAN condemn the use of homophobic language and confirm we will no longer be working with DaBaby,” the statement reads.

“Diversity and inclusion are part of the boohoo Groups DNA and we pride ourselves on representing the diverse customers we serve across the globe.
He added: "This fuels stigma and discrimination and is the opposite of what our world needs to fight the AIDS epidemic.
"HIV has affected over 70 million people globally: men, women, children and the most vulnerable people in our communities.
"In America, a gay black man has a 50% lifetime chance of contracting HIV.
In an video, DaBaby claimed his words weren't meant for his gay fans because they weren't the "junkies" or "nasty gay n****s" he was referencing.
“Me and all my fans at the show, the gay ones and the straight ones, we turnt the fuck up,” he began.
“I said, ‘If you don’t got AIDS, put a cellphone light up.’ I said, ‘If you ain’t suck a n***a dick in the parking lot, put your cellphones light up.’ So I could drop my next song. I wasn't going on no rant.
“All the lights went up, gay or straight,” he went on.
“You wanna know why? Because even my gay fans don’t got fucking AIDS, stupid ass n***as. They don’t got AIDS.
"My gay fans, they take care of themselves. They ain’t got no nasty gay n***as, see what I’m saying? They ain’t no junkies on the street.”
DaBaby went on to say that his gay fans “got class” and “standards,” and that the people who were offended by his remarks were “bringing negative attention and energy” upon themselves.
On July 27, DaBaby logged on to to address the backlash again, this time issuing an apology within a series of tweets.

“Anyone who done ever been effected by AIDS/HIV y’all got the right to be upset, what I said was insensitive even though I have no intentions on offending anybody. So my apologies,” he wrote.
“But the LGBT community… I ain’t trippin on y’all, do you. Y’all business is y’all business," he added.
