Did Cody Rigsby leave Dancing with the Stars?
DANCING With The Stars’ Cody Rigsby contracted Covid-19 for the second time this year, but will compete in the finale on November 22.
Hs partner Cheryl Burke tested positive for the virus on September 3, 2021.
Why did Cody Rigsby almost leave Dancing with the Stars?
Cody Rigsby took to social media on September 30, 2021, to announce he had contracted coronavirus and "didn't want to be sharing" the news.
Cody said he is vaccinated, and compared to his infection in February before he received the vaccine, his symptoms are minor and include mild congestion, headache, and cough.

Back in February, Cody contracted coronavirus and said he "got hit pretty hard" with symptoms at the time.
"It took me a lot to bounce back," he said. "Even returning to physical activity, it took me like, five weeks after my diagnosis to even feel normal. It's a work in progress."
It is unclear how Cody's diagnosis will affect him in the competition and he said he is taking the time to rest and recover before making a decision.
"As far as my fate on Dancing with the Stars, we're still trying to figure that out right now so please be patient with that answer," Cody said on Instagram Thursday.
What happened to Cheryl Burke?
Burke was forced to take a step back from DWTS as she was diagnosed with coronavirus.
She got emotional in a clip posted to Instagram on her way to the test center as she explained she felt "run down" and was "scared" to have caught the virus.
She said she intended to continue to train Rigsby via Zoom, but the plan was derailed when Cody contracted the virus.
"Not only do I feel scared and at a loss for words, I also do feel run down a bit," she told her 653,000 followers in the three-minute-long video.
She added that she didn't want to let partner Cody down because their "salsa was so good" ahead of their performance.
Explaining that she is fully vaccinated - having had two doses of the Moderna vaccine - she later confirmed she had contracted the virus.
"I have really bad news, I am positive, which means I have Covid. I just got the news now and I've been anticipating it, just waiting," Cheryl added.
"I've been feeling progressively worse," she continued, getting choked up and wiping away tears. "I feel so bad. I feel so bad for Cody.
"I feel like I'm letting him down. I just feel like s***, to be quite honest. It's so overwhelming because the show is tomorrow."
Shaking her head and muttering under her breath as she sniffled, she added: "I just hope I didn't spread it.
"For those of you who don't think COVID is a real thing, it's f***ing real, dude. So I have to quarantine for 10 days."
Are Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke in the Dancing with the Stars finale?
Rigsby and Burke are set to throw down their best moves in the Dancing with the Stars finale on November 22.
In an interview, Rigsby spoke on how taxing Covid-19 was on his body.
"I'm someone who takes on a lot — I'm a high output individual, so when I was getting into this process of DWTS, I was like 'Yeah, of course, I can teach my classes and do these rehearsals'. You kind of just jump into it feeling really confident, and then once you get in the thick of it, you're like 'Wow, this is a lot and is taxing on my body'," he told
"I don't think people really saw the magnitude of that situation," he continued.
"Setting up an entire production in my living room by myself was stressful as hell. And you didn't know how people were going to receive it or if we were going to make it through the competition."

Despite his diagnoses, he said he remained positive week-in and week-out while rehearsing on the program.
Regardless of the outcome, he told the outlet: "I just want people to remember that even in down times you can find your joy, you can find a reason to be happy."
