DREW Barrymore appeared to throw shade at Ellen DeGeneres as she praised Dakota Johnson for calling out the talk show host.
In a 2019 clip that went viral, Dakota accused Ellen, 63, of lying about not being invited to her birthday party, reminding her that she did actually get an invite, but chose not to come.
On Thursday Dakota, 32, appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show and grinned broadly as Drew called the moment "amazing."
told Dakota: "People have gotten in trouble for claiming not being invited to your parties.
'AMAZING'
"That was amazing, by the way," , which garnered cheers from the audience. "Like, amazing."
In , Dakota sat down for a chat with the comedian, which quickly turned awkward as Ellen attempted to shame the 50 Shades of Grey star for not inviting her to her birthday party.
"How was the party, I wasn't invited." Ellen said.
"Actually, you know that's not the truth Ellen, you were invited."

Dakota then reminded Ellen that the previous year the host gave her a "bunch of s**t" about not being invited.
"But I didn't even know you wanted to be invited." the Social Network star added.
Ellen replied: "Well, who wouldn’t want to be invited to a party?"
In ever-escalating levels of awkwardness, Dakota said: "Well, I didn’t even know you liked me."
'OF COURSE I LIKE YOU'
Ellen replied: “Of course I like you. You knew I liked you. You’ve been on the show many times, and don’t I show... like?”
Dakota told her: "You do. But I did invite you and you didn't come so..."
And when asked how she could be sure, the movie star replied: "Ask everybody. Ask Jonathan, your producer. Yeah, he's right there."
Ellen said she "was probably in Malibu," adding, "That's too far for me to go to. No I think I do remember I was invited - thank you."
On the weekend of Dakota's birthday, Ellen and her wife were spotted at an American football game next to and his wife Laura.
It was just one of several awkward exchanges in the interview.
