Built in 1925 as a Presbyterian church, the 13,292 square foot home has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
Located in the Garden District, the home has also been used for events, weddings and even served as a creative space for some big name stars.
It housed a ballet dancing group before it was converted into a residential property in 2000.

It has a 26-foot-tall great room, which was once the sanctuary. It also features wood floors, a patio and a balcony.
The three-storey building features 26-foot ceilings, Spanish baroque architecture and the property includes three apartments separate to the main building which are about 1,000-square-feet themselves.
Bey and Jay are selling the property just three months after it caught fire in a suspected of an arson attack.
Fire investigators are said to have found books stuffed in the oven and a gas canister left in the historic home.
And police received reports of a suspicious person seen skulking near the property - located in the 15000 block of Harmony Street in the plush Garden Disrtict of the Louisiana city, reports.
ARSON ATTACK
A witness told News that a man was seen running from the home.
The neighbor, August Arther, said: “I was walking around the corner with my dog... and I saw a lot of smoke coming out.
“My neighbor around the corner, she saw a dude jump over the fence on the backside of Harmony and Eigth.”
The blaze erupted at 6.15pm on a Wednesday evening and was fully extinguished just over two hours later after 22 firefighters responded to the scene.
An agent Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives was spotted at the scene today. ATF agents often assist fire departments in investigating deliberate fires.
The New Orleans Fire Department has yet to comment on a possible cause for the blaze.
Beyonce and Jay-Z have a vast property portfolio spanning several states, including an $88 million mansion in Bel Air and a $26 million retreat in the Hamptons.
