Born on April 23, 1994, in Missoula, Montana, Riley is a former MLB player.
A passionate sports player, he has played both baseball and basketball professionally having played for the Kansas City Royals from 2013 to 2016.
But in June 2016 the 6ft 4inch star switched from baseball to basketball.
He posted on Instagram: "Couldn't have enjoyed my time more in the Kansas City Royals organization as a professional baseball player and feel extremely grateful to have lived a dream of mine for the last 3 years since I was a little boy.
"After plenty of thought, time, and prayer I've decided to move on from professional baseball and go back to school to get a degree, as well as play 3 seasons of basketball at the University of Montana Western.

He has a degree in science in business administration, which allowed him to kick-start his own company.
Riley also co-founded the real estate team Cowan King Group - Parks Realty and has been dedicating his time to the company since January 2021.

Why did Carly and Riley break up?
A year after her divorce from singer Michael Ray in June 2020, Carly Pearce got into a relationship with Riley.
The two were together for two years before calling it quits in June 2023.
Speaking with , Riley revealed the two had ";parted ways."
Riley said: "Yes, things didn't work out. Carly and I have parted ways and I wish her nothing but the best in both her career and personal life."
While Riley refused to elaborate on the reason why, a source told the outlet that the two split due to alleged "trust issues" from her previous divorce.
"She has a lot of trust issues. She went through that divorce with Michael Ray, and parts of that she's still coping with and struggling with," said the source.
However, the country singer broke her silence to set the record straight.
Speaking with , Carly said: "For the most part, it was great. People date to see if they're gonna go the distance, and we weren't.
"We just simply were not right for each other, and that's the bottom line."

At 19 years old, Carly moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career as a country singer.
It wasn't until 2015, that Carly had her big break when she signed a deal with Busbee who helped produce her first hit single Every Little Thing.
