THE KARDASHIAN sisters' boyfriends and husbands have been affected by the "Kardashian curse" and have hit rock bottom after joining the famous family.
During a 2016 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kylie Jenner, 24, filled viewers in on the "Kardashian curse."
She said: "The Kardashian curse is every male figure that comes and dates a Kardashian.
"Their life kind of just goes down hill after that."
KIM AND REGGIE BUSH
The curse seemed to begin when Kim Kardashian, 41, was first linked to NFL star Reggie Bush, 36, in the early 2000s.
Before he made things official with Kim in 2007, the athlete was praised and won numerous awards while playing for the Trojans.
Following a tumultuous relationship, Kim and Reggie officially called it quits in 2010.
The newly single soon Reggie suffered a large pay cut when he committed major NCAA infractions, which led to him being stripped of all the memorabilia, accolades and records.
He then broke his leg in September of that year.

KIM AND RAY J
Kim shot to fame when her 2002 sex tape with ex-boyfriend Ray J, 40, was leaked in 2007.
While the musician garnered fame for his hit songs including One Wish, Wait A Minute and Sexy Can I, he has become synonymous for starring in the tape alongside the KUWTK star.
Kim is now known for making an empire out of her family's name, while Ray J will likely always be remembered for the tape.
KOURTNEY AND SCOTT DISICK
Despite remaining a staple of the Kardashian-Jenner family, Scott Disick, 38, has dealt with many ups and downs during his time in the spotlight.
Scott and Kourtney, 42, dated for nearly a decade and share three children- Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6.
The father of three, who officially broke up with Kourtney in 2015, has struggled with addition for years and spent time in and out of rehab faciltites.
Due to his high profile status, fans have caught Scott attending wild parties that have fueled his addictions.
Scott most recently checked into rehab in May 2020.
However, he only stayed in the facility for a few days.
The KUWTK star has also been known to date younger women since splitting from Kourtney, as he had relationships with Sofia Richie, 23, for nearly three years, and model Amelia Hamlin, 20.
KHLOE AND LAMAR ODOM
After only a month of dating, Khloe Kardashian, 37, shocked the world when she married NBA star Lamar Odom, 42, in 2009.
The couple appeared together on KUWTK and their own spinoff Khloe & Lamar.
The high-profile lifestyle was a hard adjustment for the NBA star, who had a public breakdown as he became addicted to drugs and cheated on his wife.
Khloe then filed for divorce from Lamar in 2013.
However, the divorce was put on hold after Lamar suffered a near-fatal overdose in a Nevada brothel in 2015.
The reality star put the divorce on hold so that Lamar could take advantage of her health insurance, while she also took care of him as he recovered.
Their divorce was eventually finalized in 2016.
KIM AND KRIS HUMPHRIES
Kim began dating former NBA player Kris Humphries, 36, in October 2010, while they became engaged just seven months later.
The couple wasted no time and got married three months later in August 2011.
Following a fairytale wedding that was captured by KUWTK cameras, Kim filed for divorce just 72 days into their marriage.
Fans of the famous family were never vocal supporters of Kris, while the athlete said the backlash became even worse after their split.
Kris recalled being booed during a game against Philadelphia in , writing: "I thought to myself, ‘Why exactly are they booing me, though?'
"'Is it just because I’m That Guy from TV? Do they think I was trying to be famous? Is it because they think I disrespected the game of basketball?'"
He concluded: "The last one killed me, because all I’ve ever wanted to be known for was basketball."
KIM AND KANYE WEST
Following years of friendship, Kim began dating rapper Kanye West, 44, in 2012.
The pair welcomed their daughter North, eight, in 2013, while they tied the knot in 2014.
Kim and Kanye went on to welcome three more kids: Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, two.
Throughout their marriage, the couple experience numerous dramatic incidences that tested their relationship.
Kim was robbed at gun point in Paris in 2016, while Kanye was hospitalized for his first breakdown shortly after.
The rapper later revealed he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
His mental health issues were difficult for Kim and her family, though the KUWTK star seemed to hit a breaking point when Kanye claimed she wanted to abort North during her pregnancy.
After his failed 2020 presidential run, Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021.
KYLIE AND TYGA
The youngest Kardashian-Jenner started dating Tyga, 31, after he welcomed a child with Blac Chyna, who happened to be Kim's best friend at the time.
The pair first met at Kendall Jenner’s Sweet 16 party.
Kylie was just 14 and Tyga was 21, though they didn’t officially start dating in the public eye until the Kylie Cosmetics boss was 17 in 2014.
Their relationship seemed serious, as the Rack City rapper bought Kylie a Ferrari on her 18th birthday.
The couple went on to have a number of money-related issues, which included a repo man taking the Ferrari away.
According to , the 2016 incident took place when Tyga missed “a couple of payments” on his lease as Kylie shopped for a Bentley.
The rapper continued to have more financial issues and even paid a $480,000 settlement in a 2016 lawsuit with a landlord over back rent.
Kylie and Tyga broke up a few times throughout their relationship, though officially called it quits in April 2017.
KHLOE AND JAMES HARDEN
Following her split from Lamar, Khloe found love again with NBA player James Harden, 32, in the fall of 2015.
The romance didn't last long, as James allegedly cheated on the KUWTK star and they split in February 2016.
Khloe addressed the split on her show Kocktails with Khloe, stating: "I don’t want to put up with people — you want to be monogamous but then you’re not monogamous.
"I’ve always said it’s long distance … we don’t need to be monogamous. There’s a lot of s**t going on in both of our lives. You live in Houston. I live in L.A. Let’s see each other, when we see each other."
James addressed the "Kardashian curse" and claimed dating Khloe painted him in a negative light.
"I didn’t like all the attention," he previously .
"I feel like it was for no reason. I wasn’t getting anything out of it except my name out there and my face out there, and I don’t need that."
KYLIE AND TRAVIS SCOTT
Kylie began dating Travis Scott, 30, though the early days of their relationship was kept private as the TV personality went into hiding after becoming pregnant.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder revealed she and Travis welcomed daughter Stormi in February 2018 by sharing an 11-minute long video.
In October 2019, Kylie confirmed that she and Travis had broken up, but planned to co-parent together.
The pair remained amicable and eventually rekindled their romance.
Following speculation in May 2021 that Kylie and Travis were back on, Kylie officially confirmed the news when she announced her second pregnancy in September 2021.
While expecting his second child, tragedy struck when a stampede took place at the rapper's Astroworld Festival in November.
Nine people died during the horrific incident, while hundreds were injured.
Travis, as well as the Karadshians, have been slammed for how they have chosen to address- and ignore- the tragedy on social media.
KHLOE AND TRISTAN THOMPSON
After years of dating on and off, Khloe officially split from baby daddy Tristan Thompson, 30, over the summer.
The exes - who are parents to three-year-old daughter True - broke up after months of rumors that the NBA player cheated with multiple women.
Khloe and Tristan are believed to have broken up in June after he reportedly spent a wild night with three women.
He was allegedly seen heading into a bedroom during a Bel-Air party with three unknown women, only to emerge appearing "disheveled" half an hour later.
However, the alleged scandal is not the first time Tristan has been accused of cheating on the KUWTK star.
Several months earlier, Tristan was hit with cheating rumors from 23-year-old model Sydney Chase.
Even before Sydney's allegations, Khloe and Tristan had a tumultuous relationship.
Their first scandal took place when the athlete was caught cheating on his then-pregnant girlfriend just one day before she gave birth to their daughter, True, in 2018.
They attempted to work through things but ultimately split in 2019 after he was caught yet again cheating on her with multiple women - including sister Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods.
