Why won't Nicki Minaj collaborate with The City Girls?
On February 2, 2022, Minaj appeared on and spoke on whether or not she would work with The City Girls.
She spoke on the show and created speculation that The City Girls do not like her.
The City Girls have been willing to work with Minaj, however, the Sagittarius singer believes they don't like her.
When one of the hosts asked Minaj if she would collaborate with the duo she said she did not know.

"Well, I don’t know," Nicki began.
"What I will say is that, a few years ago I saw a video of them and I asked someone on their team at the time about them.
"I was thinking about jumping on a record, one of their records that was out at the time. And then, social media happened."
The rapper went on to explain how she would not want to go out to dinner with someone if she heard they were speaking negatively about her.

"That’s just a human way to feel if you hear somebody was saying things about you. Not just one thing, but repeated things. Repeated tweets for years. Not just one thing," Minaj said.
The City Girls have not publicly stated whether or not they like Minaj.
Later on that day Minaj took to Twitter to update her fans on the situation.
"Just had a great convo with @ThegirlJT & @YungMiami305. Let’s move on & make new memories y’all," Minaj wrote.
Who are The City Girls?
The City Girls are a hip-hop duo made up of two women: Yung Miami, 28, and JT, 29.
Yung Miami's real name is Caresha Romeka Brownlee.
JT also uses a stage name and was born as Jatavia Shakara Johnson.

Following the release of the video of Minaj's conversation about The City Girls fans were quick to take to Twitter to comment.
