KAILYN LOWRY
The MTV star delivered her second child with ex Chris Lopez at home in her bedroom.
She welcomed Creed on July 30, 2021.
On her Instagram Story, the MTV star shared additional details from her home birth.
Kailyn revealed she was in labor with Creed for “9 hours,” as she accompanied the response with a photo of her son breast feeding.
When a fan asked for tips on a natural labor, she responded: “I honestly believe I was able to cope with the pain because I was not hooked up to IV and attached to a bed.
“I coped by moving when I was contracting. I went from using the labor ball, leaning over the couch, I would walk through the contractions – right before I got into my bed to push I was on all 4s (LOL).
“I say all this to say – wait as long as you can to go to the hospital.”
Kail said she and her baby had “no reason” to be seen in the hospital after the delivery.
The Pothead Haircare owner, who gave birth to her previous three sons in a hospital, said she “learned soooo much from [her] midwife” and learned to “listen” to her body.
She also said it was “hard” to stick to her birth plan, as “nothing worth having comes easy.”
Kailyn added: “It was an experience I’ll never forget.”
Kail also posted a sweet photo of her youngest son “applying counter pressure.”
The reality TV star revealed she “didn’t scream at all” during the birth.
When a follower mentioned how Creed looked “purple,” in the photos, she replied: “We had a scary moment when he was delivered but everything ended up being ok.”
JADE ROPER
Jade and husband Tanner Tolbert welcomed their second child in 2019.
The Bachelor star delivered the baby in her closet, telling : “It’s surreal. I’m still having trouble processing it.”
She told the magazine she was about two weeks away from her due date when her water broke.
Tanner told People: “Her water actually broke at 9:16 p.m., as we were actually watching The Bachelorette.”
Jade recalled: “I had been having Braxton Hicks contractions so I felt the baby was coming soon, so much so that my mom came from Nebraska early.”
Tanner chimed in: “We weren’t shocked that he came early, but we were shocked that he came so fast.
“With Emmy, Jade labored for seven hours. We called the midwife, we got the baby bag and Jade was going to take a quick bath to calm her body down. We weren’t going to take hours, but maybe 20-30 minutes.”
The pair planned to hit the road after Jade got out of the bath, but their baby decided the time was then.
Jade shared with People: “We were waiting for Tanner’s mom because she was coming to watch Emerson. But then I got out of the tub and my contractions were so intense I couldn’t even keep on top of them.
“I started pacing in the bathroom and found myself in the closet trying to think about getting clothes on. Then I yelled for Tanner and I was like, ‘Tanner it’s happening now!’ He came in and tried to get me dressed. He put me in a T-shirt and his gym shorts. I was just in a pain and labor fog.”
The couple wound up calling 911 and within minutes, Tanner said, “the baby was crowning.”
He told the magazine: “The dispatch lady told me to get some towels and to go down and catch the baby if it happens. I looked down and there was a full head of hair. He was as crowned as crowned gets! So, the lady on the phone told Jade to not push until the ambulance arrived.”
It took just one push for the baby to be out in the world.
They named their second child Brooks.
Not long after his birth, the couple announced they were pregnant with baby No. 3.
In November 2020, they welcomed another boy, who they named Reed.

Seth revealed that they had been waiting on an Uber to take them to the hospital after Alexi went into labor.
His wife quickly realized she wasn’t going to make it to the hospital.
He shared, at the time: “I looked at my wife and the only way I can describe how my wife looked was she looked like someone who was hiding a baby in a pair of sweatpants.
“Then we had to decide if we’re going to go back into the lobby or onto the elevator. Both of those are terrible options when what you’re looking for is a hospital.”
Seth said his mother-in-law and the couple’s doula gathered around his wife, who had laid down on the floor.
Things started moving fast at that point.
Just one minute into his phone call with 911, the Saturday Night Live alum said: “We’re about to have a baby. We’re having a baby. We had a baby.”

Neighbors chipped in, loaning the couple blankets and putting towels in their dryers to help keep mom and baby warm.
