Taking to her Instagram Stories in a fleet of text-based posts, 25-year-old Lili began: "To walk on the red carpet and do an interview where you say how starving you are...because you haven't eaten carbs in the last month...to fit into a f**king dress?"

She continued: "So wrong. So f**ked on so many levels."

"To openly admit you're starving yourself for the sake of the Met Gala."

"When you know very well that millions of young men and women are looking up to you and listening to your every word."

The star, who plays Betty Cooper on the teen show Riverdale, concluded in a third post before noting the "toxicity" of show business: "The ignorance is other-worldly and disgusting.

"Please stop supporting these stupid, harmful celebrities whose entire image revolves around their bodies."

THE BIG SQUEEZE

The reaction from Lili comes after Kim revealed she lost 16 pounds in three weeks to fit into the legendary dress.

She borrowed the item from Ripley's Believe It Or Not! museum in Orlando, Florida.

It's the iconic $5M dress that Marilyn Monroe wore when she famously sang "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" to John F. Kennedy.

Dubbed the "world's most expensive dress," Kim was proud about wearing - and fitting into - the one-size-fits-all number at the fashion extravaganza, and bleaching her hair a Marilyn-matching blonde.

Speaking with  on the red carpet, she revealed: "I tried it on and it didn't fit me. I said, 'Give me three weeks.'

"I had to lose 16 pounds down today."

She seemingly then boasted: "It was such a challenge. It was like a [movie] role. I was determined to fit it. I haven't had carbs or sugar in about three weeks."

Kim’s comments clearly affected Lili, who has spoken about her experiences with body dysmorphia before.

The young actress is an advocate for eating disorder awareness and has been open about the effects of the entertainment world on her own mental health.

"I didn't think being in this industry, that is so obsessed with women's bodies and weights, could ever mess with my own body acceptance and positivity," she previously told her Instagram followers.

"But it has. I wish I hadn't grown up in a time where the media worshipped only one size of women."
