Jana Duggar defies dad Jim Bob’s strict rules & bares her legs in a sexy mini dress in a rare photo
JANA Duggar has defied her father's, Jim Bob, strict rules by wearing a mini dress that shows her legs in a new photo with her family.
The reality star attended a friend's wedding wearing a short dress.
Jana, who is not as active on social media as her siblings, sat in a big red chair with her friend and family members, after attending a mutual friend's wedding.
Everyone was dressed in formal attire and smiling for the camera.
She, however, wore a light bluish short dress with a tan jacket over it, baring her legs.
The 32-year-old paired it with white sandals and a curly hairstyle.

Her friend, Emily Ann Raynes, originally posted the photo on her Instagram story.
She captioned it, "After the wedding was a blast with @janamduggar @hannahduggar! California is beautiful!"
Jana's sister-in-law, Hannah, sat next to her in the picture, and she wore a more modest dress.
Her dress was also a light blue, but it came down past her knees.

Hannah wore a white jacket over her dress and paired it with brown open-toe shoes.
Her husband, Jeremiah Duggar, was also in attendance.
She defied her father's modesty rules by wearing a super short dress.
GOOD JEANS
This isn't the first time, Jana has defied Jim Bob's rules.
Back in February, she wore skin-tight blue jeans while on a trip to L.A.
The former reality star was out on the town with her mom, Michelle, and sister, Jinger, who also wore jeans.
About a month later, she teased her home renovation project while also wearing jeans.
She has worn pants, whether skin-tight or not, on numerous occasions, which strictly go against her parent's policies.
The Duggar girls usually wear skirts and long sleeves shirts as being modest is part of the rules.
DEFYING DAD'S RULES
Jim Bob and his wife Michelle are strict conservatives who implement rules for their children.
The Duggars try to implement a conservative dress code, discourage birth control use, and urge the use of parental chaperones while they go on dates prior to being married.
One of the big rules the women in the family must follow is that they must not wear pants and when they wear dresses or skirts they cannot show their legs or dress in a revealing matter.
The kids also can't have tattoos or body piercings.
They can't give front-facing hugs and must be accompanied by an adult chaperone when on a date.
The children must not drink alcohol or have intimate relationships before they are married.
One rule that many of the Duggars have broken is that they cannot have their own social media accounts.
REBELLING
Although Jana does follow most of the rules- she is currently single and still lives with her parents, she does rebel in some senses.
Her clothing choices would not be approved by her father.
Jana has worn shirts and dresses, where her arms are not covered up.
On a zoo trip last September, she wore a shirt that buttoned up in the front, but she left it open, creating a v-neck, which is a big no-no.
And last August, Jana really busted out when she took a trip to Sin City!
The reality star took to to share two photos while on her trip to Las Vegas.
One photo featured the daughter smiling in black pants and a matching top, while Jana gave fans a side profile of outfit number two in the following snap.
The second ensemble included beige slacks, a black top, and sandals.
The Duggar sisters have rebelled more than the brothers and broken many rules.
