Travis Barker’s health update revealed amid pancreatitis battle as Kardashians take off for extravagant July 4th trip
TRAVIS Barker will remain in hospital over July 4th weekend with new wife Kourtney by his side, as the rest of the Kardashian family have jetted off on vacation.
A source exclusively told The Sun the drummer, 46, who was struck down with pancreatitis earlier this week, is not due to leave the hospital in Los Angeles until Sunday.
He and Kourtney will be missing out on any planned July 4th vacation with her family as they have already flown to the Turks and Caicos Islands for a celebratory trip.
The insider said: "Travis is set to be released from hospital on Sunday, but this could change depending on his recovery, he's doing well and Kourtney will not be leaving his side."

Multiple sources told The Sun Kourtney's sisters, including Kim Kardashian and their mom Kris Jenner, jetted off earlier this week and plan to soak up the sun.
"Kim and co usually head to Idaho for their July 4th vacation where she is building a house, she took North earlier this month with her friends for her 9th birthday," an insider spilled.
"They spent time on Gozzer Ranch, perched above Lake Coeur d'Alene, went wakeboarding on the water and zip-lining at Timberline Adventures during the low-key trip.
"The family have since returned to LA and are now in Turks and Caicos enjoying a summer vacation as Kourtney remains with Travis in the hospital helping him recover."

The Sun has reached out to Kourtney and Travis's reps for comment.
Kim hinted at her location on Friday, posting a snap on Instagram of her in a silver bikini and sunglasses, promoting her SKIMS metallic range which drops in coming weeks.
She also shared a video of her in a silver one-piece before being filmed riding a bicycle in the outfit through a secret luxury resort lined with large palm trees.
The blonde star showed off her tiny waist in her clothing after revealing she has lost weight in recent weeks due to a diet change and grueling workouts.
Meanwhile, Blink-182 drummer Travis is still being cared for at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after being hospitalized on Tuesday, June 28.
According to TMZ, the star's doctors believe his pancreatitis was "triggered" by a recent colonoscopy, with sources telling the outlet he recently underwent the invasive examination.
'EXTREME PAIN'
On Wednesday, Travis's daughter Alabama, 16, shared a worrying photo of the rocker in hospital just hours after his medical scare.
The performer was taken to West Hills Hospital in Los Angeles, California, closely followed by his wife, 43-year-old Kourtney - just weeks after the couple's lavish Italian wedding.
From there, he was escorted by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai and is daughter has been posting update photographs from his bedside, after previously telling fans: "Please send your prayers."
A spokesperson for Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station confirmed to The Sun there were no 911 calls made from Kourtney or Travis' addresses on Tuesday, June 28.
Instead, the newly-weds are believed to have headed to the West Hills Hospital themselves and the rockstar was seen in photographs obtained by TMZ entering the facility on a gurney.
His tattooed hand could be seen clenched into a fist as he was wheeled out of the ambulance as Kourtney stood behind him wearing a black hoodie and matching sweatpants.

According to reports, Travis was in serious pain after being struck down with the illness.

"Kourtney was worried yesterday. They both were," a source earlier this week. "Travis was suffering from extreme stomach pain and could barely walk."
"He is getting the best care at Cedars though," they added, saying doctors are focusing on pain management and determining Barker's condition via a "battery of tests and a modified diet."
