Trixie Mattel and Kim Chi beef explained
DRAG queens and global makeup sensations Kim Chi and Trixie Mattel have gained a massive fanbase since appearing on RuPaul's Drag Race.
The pair have been fast friends since their stint in the Drag competition, but tweets between Trixie Mattel and Kim Chi worry fans.
What happened between Trixie Mattel and Kim Chi?
Brian Michael Firkus, known as Trixie Mattel, took to Twitter to express disappointment at Kim Chi, whose real name is Sang-Young Shin.
Both queens fired tweets back and forth, tagging each other in infamous tweets.
On July 23, 2022, Trixie tweeted: "You love to play the victim while riding high on a moral horse, but everyone can see through you.
"You're not as sleek as you think. I have the receipts, and you're the one that's going down from this."
She tagged Kim in this tweet, so there was no confusion about who the skinny legend was shading.
It wasn't long before Kim responded, tweeting: "People do change after all. I am not surprised. Just disappointed. I will reveal the truth to everyone soon. Karma is a bitch, and so are you."

She returned to the app to share the image, which she tweeted with the caption: " I'm ready to let people know who you really are."
In response, Kim tweeted: "I can't believe you've got everyone fooled for this long. Once I reveal your truth, you will be done for. Start counting your days."
Both queens have been silent about the matter since this, with Trixie promoting her and fellow All-Star Katya's merchandise.
Are they friends?
Kim and Trixie have been friends for years, promoting each other and collaborating on videos and drag shows.
While they are on different seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race, Kim Chi helped Trixie get one of her first Chicago drag jobs.
They have supported each other's makeup brands since launching them - Kim Chi Beauty and Trixie Cosmetics.
A theory quickly emerged that the fallout could be a promotion for a makeup collaboration between the two brands.
Kim Chi Beauty's site reads: "something major is happening soon ... stay tuned."
