JUST days before her death at age 73, Olivia Newton-John shared a heartbreaking final post with her husband, John Easterling.

The four-time Grammy Award-winner passed away on Monday morning at her ranch in Southern .

The photo was shared on August 5, just three days before Newton-John's tragic passing.

Captioned "#FlashbackFriday" with a heart emoji, shows the Grease star with her husband, John Easterling.

The two met in 2005 and wed in 2008, following her first marriage to Matt Lattanzi.

Hundreds of people commented on the post, with many conveying their well wishes for Newton-John's health amidst her cancer battle.

In 2017, the star announced that she was diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time - 25 years after the first occurrence.

Newton-John's death was announced Monday afternoon on her Facebook page by Easterling.

"Dame Olivia Newton-John (73) passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends," Easterling wrote.

"Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer.

"Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer.

"In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in her memory to the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund (ONJFoundationFund.org)."

While a cause of death was not immediately released, sources close to the actress told : "After a 30-year cancer journey, she lost her battle to metastatic breast cancer."

Many fans have taken to the comments section of Newton-John's final post with tributes to the late dame.

"So sad we all loved her so much she fought a brave fight she will be terribly missed she’s an angel now rest in peace Olivia love and prayers to the family," one person wrote.

"Such sad news. She will be missed! Her music. Will live on . She will live in our hearts!," another commented.

"Such a wonderful picture . You both look so happy. Cherish those memories you have in your heart, John Easterling. I have enjoyed all of Olivia's music and in the movies all my life and will cherish them all as well," another fan wrote.

"She helped make the world a better place and John, you helped make her world better for her," someone else commented.
