Khloe Kardashian slammed as critics spot ‘toxic’ detail in the background at daughter True’s 5th birthday party

KHLOE Kardashian has been slammed after fans spotted her ex Tristan Thompson at their daughter True’s fifth birthday party.

Tristan – who has cheated on Khloe multiple times – was seen in the background of a photo at the extravagant children’s party on Sunday.

Khloe’s friend Malika Haqq shared a photo of Kris Jenner posing with Malika’s son Ace at the bash.

Tristan – as well as Khloe’s sister Kourtney’s baby daddy Scott Disick – could be seen in the back of the snap.

A Kardashian fan shared the photo on Reddit and wrote: “Tristan did attend the party…ugh.”

Another added: “I don’t understand how a man can be there for one child and not the others?”

The user seemed to be referring to Tristan’s other children – son Prince with his ex Jordan Craig and son Theo with his former mistress Maralee Nichols.

A third critic posted: “Khloe gotta let that toxic man go idc what anyone says.”

Others defended Tristan, however, pointing out that he was simply attending his child’s party.

One wrote: “I mean True is his daughter. I think it’s ok for him to be at her birthday party.”

Rumors have been swirling for months that the Hulu star is back with her NBA player ex.

Last month, Khloe attended Malika and Khadijah Haqq’s 40th birthday. During the party, she was seen with her baby daddy Tristan.

Fans also speculated The Kardashians star welcomed her cheating ex back into her life after the unexpected death of his mother.

In January, the duo reunited and jetted to Toronto, Canada, as Tristan grieved for his late mother.

The Good American founder and the athlete conceived their second child, a boy, via a surrogate while he fathered a love child with his mistress Maralee Nichols.

The fallout from Tristan’s cheating scandal continued to rock Khloe’s world as the athlete became locked in a legal battle with his ex-mistress regarding the support of their son, Theo.

In mid-December 2022,  reported Tristan – who is listed as the father on Theo’s birth certificate – will pay about $9,500 a month to Maralee.

But sources say Tristan seems to be determined to “make it work” with Khloe.

A source told : “Tristan is always trying to get Khloe back, he still loves her and wants to make it work between them.

“They’re friends and great co-parents, but he wants more.”

Another insider told Us that the couple was not “back together” and Khloe was upset that she had to turn the comments off on her birthday post for Tristan because “people will come for her.”

The source said: “Khloé will never not support Tristan because he’s the father of her two kids. Khloé called him the ‘best father’ because that’s how she feels and she will always stand by that.”

They continued: “Despite whatever happened between them, she has decided to focus on the positive because her children are the most important people in her life.

“She’s able to separate their past and appreciates the way he shows up for his kids.”
