Extra host Billy Bush, 52, revealed in an Instagram post that Matthew, 54, played pickleball just hours before his death.

In a lengthy post, Billy shared what the actor's pickleball partner told him.

He wrote: "I spoke to the woman he played with this morning and every morning.

"She is in shock, adored Matt … she said he had been fatigued today and over the past week.

"A little more than usual. He played for one hour, then went home."

Billy mentioned the actor played the sport "every day and sometimes twice. It regulated his days."

Matthew's rise to fame came from his comedic role as Chandler Bing on the popular NBC sitcom.

His famous co-stars included Matt LeBlanc, 56; Courteney Cox, 59; David Schwimmer, 56; Lisa Kudrow, 60; and Jennifer Aniston, 54.

THE TRAGIC NEWS

WORN OUT?

Back in February, the star was spotted looking disheveled while moving into his new Los Angeles home.

Matthew was photographed looking troubled and tired as he attempted to unload a truck.

He sipped on Starbucks and dressed casually in a baggy navy top, jeans, and sneakers.

Matthew looked nothing like his TV counterpart and showed off long gray hair and a matching goatee.

He was seen unloading a U-Haul full of fancy household furniture and a custom-made bed.

The author had just wrapped up a whirlwind book tour for his memoir, Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing: A Candid, Darkly Funny Book.

'I'M MATTMAN'

On Monday, October 23, Matthew took to Instagram for what would be his final post and shared a snapshot of himself taking a late-night dip.

In the image, he appeared to be relaxing in what appeared to be his pool or jacuzzi and had a pair of headphones on.
