Jennifer Aniston breaks silence on Matthew Perry’s death that ‘cut deep’ and shares texts to each other before passing
JENNIFER Aniston has finally broken her silence regarding her long-time co-star Matthew Perry's tragic death.
The Friends actors have remained tight-lipped until this week as they have finally shared thoughts on the loss of their cast mate.
The actress took to her on Wednesday where she shared a photo from the Friends set, a text message exchange between the two, and a scene from the show.
The black and white picture showed both Jennifer and Matthew seated while on set and reading lines with one another.
The late TV star smiled, seemingly mid-joke, while his female castmate burst into full-blown laughter.
The second slide showed a text exchange between the two Friends co-stars.
It included the black and white image that Matthew had sent to Jennifer, along with the message: "Making you laugh just made my day. It made my day," with a smiley face.
The actress had replied: "Awww the first of THOUSANDS of times," with a red heart, laughing, and star-eyed emojis.
According to the exchange, it seemed to have been the pair's first funny interaction while on set.
Finally, Jennifer added a scene from the NBC show where she and Matthew had an emotional conversation.
The clip ended with the actor making a funny joke - a staple of his career as a comedian.
JEN'S MESSAGE
Jennifer added a lengthy caption to the post, reading: "Oh boy this one has cut deep... Having to say goodbye to our Matty has been an insane wave of emotions that I’ve never experienced before.
"We all experience loss at some point in our lives. Loss of life or loss of love. Being able to really SIT in this grief allows you to feel the moments of joy and gratitude for having loved someone that deep.
The pair were dressed in brightly colored suits, and the actor's hair was coiffed in a 1980s style.
He wrote: "Matty, Thank you for ten incredible years of laughter and creativity.
"I will never forget your impeccable comic timing and delivery.
"You could take a straight line of dialogue and bend it to your will, resulting in something so entirely original and unexpectedly funny it still astonishes.
"And you had heart. Which you were generous with, and shared with us, so we could create a family out of six strangers.
