Star Trek Beyond reveals final trailer before Friday’s release
More action, more explosions, and we get to see a little more of Idris Elba's new villain Krall
HERE'S the fourth - and final - trailer for Star Trek Beyond, released just four days before this Friday's release date.
The new teaser shows more of the action and also reveals a little more of Idris Elba's new villain, Krall.
Krall has a speaking part in the trailer, growling, "I know your kind" at Kirk's startled crew.
Director Justin Lin, of Fast and the Furious Fame, has revealed that Krall is "a new species that we discover in this chapter."
Lin has also revealed that Elba spent four hours in make-up every day to get Krall's lizard-like appearance.
Star Trek Beyond is the third in the series of rebooted movies and features the returning cast of Chris Pine, Simon Pegg, Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto and the late Anton Yelchin.
Earlier this week Paramount Pictures revealed that a fourth installment is already planned with Thor star Chris Hemsworth reprising his role as George Kirk after the character was killed off in the first 2009 reboot.
Star Trek beyond opens this Friday, July 22.
