Love Island’s Jess Shears admits she’s ‘barely lost any weight’ after giving birth at 15.5 stone
JESS Shears admits she's "barely lost any weight" after giving birth to her first child with husband Dom Lever - but she isn't in any rush to lose it.
The Love Island beauty says she weighs more than the baby and Dom combined as Instagram followers congratulated the star on her figure.
The 26-year-old shared a photo of herself holding the baby in a bra and leggings, showing off her flat middriff.
Fans were quick to point out how fit she's looking so soon after giving birth - but she took to her Story to clear things up.
She told her 1.3million followers: "I've had really nice comments about how I look and losing baby weight on my post from today but I'd just like to say that Dom and the baby together still weigh less than me.
"I literally was like 15 and a half stone before I gave birth and I've barely lost any.
"But I'm not trying to. I'm in no rush. Just enjoying the gym as a bit of me time and thank you but, don't feel pressured, I don't."
While the new mum is taking advantage of the brief "me time", some people have been criticising her for going back to exercise so soon after giving birth.
Earlier this month, husband Dom posted a photo of the star lifting dumbbells in the gym shortly after giving birth - leading to some people to question why she was working out.
Jess didn't take kindly to people criticising her family, so she hit back in a post on Instagram.

She wrote: "Can people stop assuming they know anything about the birth of our child.
"Just because we chose to share an image yesterday does not mean that's when they were born.
"Dom, baby and I are happy, healthy and recovering at our own rate."
Jess and Dom got engaged after three months of dating. They met on season three of Love Island.
They married first in a bizarre ceremony overseen by Richard Arnold on Good Morning Britain.
The pair later remarried for a second time in a romantic ceremony on the Greek Island of Mykonos in October last year.
