Love Island millionaire Jonny Mitchell’s fiancée Danielle reveals they’ve split by posing in her wedding dress
LOVE Island millionaire Jonny Mitchell and his fiancée Danielle Zarb-Cousin have split a year after getting engaged.
Danielle, 27, broke the news to her Instagram followers by sharing a video of her in a wedding dress, alongside a lengthy statement.
She wrote: "It isn’t just cancelling a wedding, it’s saying goodbye to the vision you had for the rest of your life after that day.
"The venue, the laughter, the family members and the start of a journey with someone who you love and who will love you for the rest of your life, no matter what, for better or worse.
"The places you would live and the things you would see together. I am not posting this for sympathy but for my own closure.
"I’m saying goodbye to the girl in this dress, I’m saying goodbye to her for good. It’s been pretty traumatising for me having to come to terms with everything lol but I’m only looking forward from now on.
"God has a different plan for my life 🙏 I hope the next chapter is the best one yet ✨✨#youstayclassysandiego."
She insisted that neither party had cheated and wished Jonny, 28, success with his life after paying tribute to their "beautiful memories".
In her Instagram stories she gushed about the love and support she's had from her parents.
On a picture of her hugging her dad Mark, she called him the "greatest man in the whole world."
While she called mum her best friend.
Another snap showed a home filled with bin bags of possessions.
The couple got engaged last December after ten months of dating.
Jonny revealed Danielle said yes after he popped the question in Switzerland, and wrote in a gushing post on Instagram: "It sounds clichè, but I knew from the first time I met this girl that I was going to marry her.
"I probably would’ve proposed to her within the first month of knowing her if it wasn’t totally weird! She’s basically the girl version of me and gets me in every way humanly possible.. She’s a beautiful, caring soul inside and out..
"She’s there for me through thick and thin and puts up with all my crap.. and now she’s my fiancée and I couldn’t be happier"
He went public with his romance with Danielle in February 2018.
Danielle is an animal rights campaigner and vegan, who dotes on her rescue staffy.
Jonny rose to fame on Love Island in 2017 when he romanced the likes of Camilla Thurlow and Tyla Carr.
But his flirtations didn’t stop there – with Jonny dating Chyna Ellis when he left the villa.
He then moved onto Made In Chelsea star Stephanie Pratt.
