Will Love Island return in winter 2021?

LOVE Island fans are keen to now if when their favourite show will be back on our screens again.

The ITV2 reality series was due to start soon, but viewers fear it could be a while off due to the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the world.

Will Love Island return summer 2020?

Bad news, the show WON'T be back again in 2020.

The decision to pull the plug on the popular ITV2 show came after bosses admitted they could not guarantee the safety of the contestants amid the on-going Covid-19 pandemic.

Bosses had looked at a number of ways they could try and continue with filming, including testing the contestants for coronavirus and moving the dates to later in the year.

However when crisis talks were held over Thursday and Friday it was decided the upcoming series of Love Island was simply not going to be viable.

Will Love Island return in winter 2021?

This is still yet to be confirmed.

However, if it returns it will likely to be for the summer version in 2021.

The winter version 2021 could suffer the same fate as the summer 2020.
