Love Island’s Demi Jones and Luke Mabbott spark split fears after fans spot he’s ignoring her Instagram pictures

LOVE Island’s Demi Jones and Luke Mabbott sparked fears they’d split after fans realised he’d stopped liking her Instagram pictures.

The couple – who have been dating since leaving the Love Island villa in February – had fans worried after failing to post about each other while they were in lockdown in different houses.

But reps for both Demi and Luke M deny they’ve split and say the Islanders are very much still together.

Luke, who is isolating with his brother up in Newcastle, hadn’t ‘liked’ Demi’s past two Instagram posts – and fans were convinced they’d split.

When one follower asked Demi if “you and Luke were still together”, another replied to say he hadn’t liked her past two posts.

Another fan told Demi: “Hope you and Luke [are] ok, noticed he hasn’t liked your last two [posts] hope all is good.”

Demi is in lockdown in Portsmouth, where her family lives, and Luke recently revealed it was hard on the couple.

In an Instagram Q&A earlier this month, he said: “Me and Demi are good, obviously this lockdown is really hard for us.

“Obviously, we do see each other quite a bit, before that we were staying in hotels and working together and she’s spending lockdown with her family and I’m spending it with mine.

“We do Facetime, Snapchat and talk so we are going good.”

The couple met on the winter version of Love Island earlier this year

However, he said they’re still not an official couple, adding: “We are just seeing each other at the minute, we are just seeing how things are going.

“We haven’t had the full test on the outside world yet because of this lockdown, so we are just going to see how things go.”
