A TV source revealed to The Sun: "Amy has been a fan of Love Island for years, she's always dreamed of being on the show.

"When fellow air stewardess Laura Anderson took part last year it really spurred her on and gave her even more of a reason to apply.

"After having a boob job when she was 21 Amy feels more confident than ever with her body and she can't wait to get in her bikini this summer."

Amy told to The Sun in 2014 that she suffered with nerves and low self-confidence because of her 34A bust.

She overcame her insecurities after her grandparents paid £5,000 for her to go under the knife age 21 to increase her cleavage to a size DD.

Speaking at the time, she said: “Now I never worry about putting on a bikini or a nice dress to go out because my boobs are ample enough to fill them. And it’s all thanks to my grandma and granddad.

“Borrowing the money from my grandparents was definitely worth it – even though I’m paying it back bit by bit every month.

“And then I thought: 'Why should I be ashamed?’ I have a career, I didn’t take money from the NHS to get them, and I’m much happier.”

The new series of Love Island starts on Monday June 3 and while ITV are yet to confirm the new line-up that hasn’t stopped the rumour mill from spinning.

Boxer Tyson Fury revealed his younger brother Tommy is going on the show this year, saying: “He’s going on a TV show called Love Island.

“He’s a good looking young kid and I think he’s going to be a hit with the ladies on it. He clearly doesn’t look like me because I look like an ogre.”

The Sun revealed bosses were doing everything they could to secure Rochelle Humes' younger sister Soph Piper for the show but she was still weighing up her options.
