Love Island viewers won’t see Sherif Lanre booted out the villa as bosses sneak him out of the back door
LOVE Island viewers won’t see Sherif Lanre booted out the villa – as bosses sneak him out of the back door.
The show's narrator Iain Stirling will mention Sherif’s absence during tonight’s instalment but scenes of him saying his goodbyes will not be shown.
A TV source said: “Sherif’s departure will be spoken about in tonight’s show but the reason for his exit will not be disclosed.
“Fans won’t see the moment Islanders are told about Sherif leaving and his goodbyes won’t be aired either.”
The Sun revealed that Sherif had been booted out the villa after breaking one of the programme’s rules.
ITV bosses are yet to tell the reason why Sherif suddenly left the villa – but many believe the chef broke protocol by using his phone to contact someone from the outside world.
Sherif has spoken of his regret after being forced to leave the show by producers.
He said: “In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.
“I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20 year old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from.
“I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside.”
Love Island bosses issue contestants with a set of rules before they go into the villa.
It is unclear specifically what Sherif was kicked out for, but Islander protocol includes no nudity, a ban on masturbation and the practice of safe sex.
