NEWCOMERS Maura Higgins and Elma Pazar turned the Love Island villa upside down in last night's episode, with Amber Gill and Michael Griffiths's relationship left on the rocks and Molly-Mae Hague beginning to question her future with Tommy Fury.

And while they've had a relatively great time so far, Danny Williams saw another side to Yewande Biala that he certainly didn't like. Here's more about Love Island's episode ten...

What happened in Love Island last night?

Anton Danyluk and Danny took centre stage with Maura and Elma respectively, and the gym owner wasted no time in trying to make a good impression during his date.

“I was waiting for an Essex girl to come in,'' Anton told Elma before gushing about owning his own fitness company.

Certainly impressed with what she was hearing, the eyelash technician complimented him when she stated: “I could tell when you walked me down the stairs that your arms were really tensed.”

The two certainly appeared to share a close bond between one another as their conversation continued to flow, while Danny’s date saw Maura question him over his situation with Yewande.

Danny explained that he was definitely attracted to the scientist’s Irish accent, and when quizzed on whether that was something he was into, he gushed: “Yes. It’s incredible.”

The female Islanders, who had been watching everything from the terrace, started to heckle the dates in the garden by laughing and giggling throughout - and Maura was not happy about it.

As the main course drew to a close, Tommy and Michael were next to dine with the girls.

Elma, who picked Tommy, was intrigued to know how things were going between the boxer and Molly-Mae.

He stressed that things were going well but also noted that he was still in the stage of getting to know the social media influencer, implying that his options were still open.

Over at Maura's table, the grid girl was intrigued to know more about Michael’s relationship with Amber, asking the firefighter whether he knew where he stood with the woman he’d been crushing on for the past few days.

Michael gave away that he wasn’t exactly sure about Amber and her feelings towards him because she doesn’t tend to open up the way that she would with other people.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Islanders - who were packed on the terrace - continued their heckling, with Maura responding: “Why are they being so immature? This is embarrassing. I’ll give them something to talk about.”

At that moment, Maura then fed Michael some of her dessert, leaving Islanders gasping.

Once the girls were officially introduced to the rest of the contestants, Amber made it no secret that she was unhappy with Michael by walking past him and Maura to greet Elma instead.

And though he branded her as childish in front of the Islanders, the Liverpool hunk really spoke his mind about her behaviour in the Beach Hut.

He said: “I waited at the bottom of the stairs so I could speak to Amber and reassure her again that there is no reason for her to feel any kind of way.

"She walked straight past me and ignored Maura who I was on a date with.”

Despite having assured Amber that she had nothing to worry about, Michael seemed anything but sure about his future with her following what transpired in the midst of his date.

And while Curtis Pritchard tried to lift the mood by stressing how much Amber liked him, he argued that she's “got a funny way of showing it”.

Molly-Mae was definitely conscious about Tommy’s attraction to Maura, but she went out of her way to keep her composure and greet the model with a smile on her face.

But even after their date, Molly picked up on Tommy’s flirty behaviour towards Maura, leaving her to question him on whether there was still a chance between the two of them.

When she confronted Maura about her time with Tommy, Molly argued that she wanted to know “where me and him are at. We’re not in this triangle any more, it’s just me and him. He did really reassure me before he went on the date.”

Later on the swing seat, Maura had a chat with Tommy about his current coupling with Molly-Mae, and despite fancying the newcomer, he said that he still felt a certain way about his partner in the villa.

Once inside the bedroom, Molly who had been eavesdropping with Anna Vakili in the garden, lost her cool when she finally had a moment to confront Tommy.

The blonde bombshell poured her heart out, saying: “I thought spending every day together, sharing a bed together would be enough to make you realise that I do like you.”

Meanwhile, Danny told Yewande that he wasn’t too happy with how the girls welcomed Maura and Elma with all the giggling and heckling during their dates.

And though Yewande tried to defend their actions, arguing that “every action has a reaction,” the model from Hull noted in the Beach Hut that he had finally seen a side to her that he didn’t like.

“I saw Yewande participate in something I wasn’t keen on.”

Could things be falling apart for Yewande and Danny?
