LOVE Island fans insisted “Michael kissed £50k goodbye” when he snogged new girl Joanna Chimonides in the main villa – leaving Amber in the lurch.
Original Islanders Michael, 27, and Amber melted hearts when they coupled up two weeks ago but that all changed in Monday’s explosive episode.
Viewers saw the firefighter sweet talk Joanna in bed and later lean in for a smooch in a preview for Tuesday night’s show.
The hunky Liverpudlian asked Joanna for a kiss and swiftly went in for the kill as his fellow islanders gawped from afar.
But his shock move left fans convinced that he’d blown his chance of winning the show with Amber, 21, and the cash prize.
One person tweeted: “If only Michael knew that he and Amber were favourites to win the entire show.
“He just kissed goodbye to £50K. She deserves better than that. Snakey.”

Michael expressed his doubts about his relationship with beauty technician Amber, 21, on Saturday night whilst she pined for him in Casa Amor.
And Michael and Joanna’s chemistry was palpable during a game of sexy charades as he passionately kissed her collar bone and neck.
Then in Monday’s episode, viewers saw Casa Amor and the Villa go head-to-head to win a party with Islanders forced to kiss in cheeky challengers.
During the game, Amber was left unimpressed when she realised that as the oldest boy, Michael had to snog a girl of his choice.
She said to the others in Casa Amor: “If they win that, I’m done.”
And while Amber also had the chance to kiss a new boy, she refused.

Michael grafted Amber for two weeks – but he told Joanna that she’d been pushing him away after numerous rows.
Elsewhere in the Raunchy Races game, Anton bagged a kiss from new girl, Belle.
