Love Island fans slam ‘fake’ shopping scene and claim producers TOLD Anton to give his number to the cashier

LOVE Island fans have slammed tonight's "fake" shopping scene as they claimed that producers TOLD Anton Danyluk to give his phone number to the cashier.

Drama simmered in the ITV2 villa tonight as the girls found out about the boys' cheeky encounter with the shopkeeper when they were selected to buy ingredients for a home-cooked meal.

Anton was joined by Jordan Hames, and Tommy Fury as they were let loose in the supermarket - with Anton unable to resist handing his number over to the checkout girl despite being coupled up with Belle Hassan.

As the group enjoyed their romantic dinner later in the evening, Tommy let slip about the hunky Scotsman's indiscretion - sparking fury from the girls.

However, viewers at home were unconvinced by the scenes as they accused show bosses of staging the entire thing.

One fed-up fan wrote: "That entire shopkeeper thing was just so staged. Makes the girl look mad and neurotic and jealous all the time. Very annoying."

Another moaned: "This series is staged as f***. Ruining this programme."

A third seethed: "This has been the most fake, most staged and badly scripted episode EVER."

Others pointed out that Islanders don't have access to their mobile phones while on the show, with one writing: "The lassies are getting set up here, wound up at Anton for giving a random lassie a number to a phone he can’t use for five weeks, the producers are reaching."

A second agreed: "They don’t even have actual functioning real life phones in the Villa. Why would this be a big deal?"
