Lewis Capaldi mobbed by bikini-clad women at Ibiza pool party after saying he can’t pull
FOR a bloke who says he’s struggling to get a girlfriend because he’s too ugly, Lewis Capaldi seems to be doing just fine.
He was the centre of attention at an Ibiza pool party on Tuesday with bikini-clad women lining up to get a shot with him.
Before jetting off to the white isle, he was in demand in his home city of Glasgow, too. At a nightclub bash he gave a helping hand to one local by pouring Buckfast into her mouth.
A source said: “Lewis is the man of the moment so it’s no wonder women were queueing up to get pictures with him.
“He was enjoying himself with a few friends as he’s on holiday and he’s been working hard playing at festivals and was obviously celebrating his album success. Lewis let his hair down with a few drinks and lapped up the attention, spending loads of time with fans who adore him.”
Punters at O Beach Ibiza, which is run by Gary Lineker’s brother Wayne, posted pictures of themselves draped over the singer.
Even Coronation Street actress Mollie Winnard, who played Kayla Clifton, got in on the act. The Somebody To Love hitmaker’s attention came after he told a crowd at one of his concerts he couldn’t get a girlfriend because he still lives with his mum.
He said: “I am 22 and I live with my mother. At 22, that is undignified. I cannot get a girlfriend because I live with her and she is smothering me. I love her dearly . . . but still.” And following the success of his album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent — the fastest selling album of 2019 — and his Brit Awards nomination he admitted it has improved his Tinder profile.
He joked: “One for the Tinder bio. Been nominated for a Brit award.
“Let’s hope this dramatically improves my tinder match ratio — something needs to change.”
By the looks of it, Lewis doesn’t need any dating apps to land himself a hot girlfriend.

Amber: Islanders need 9 To 5
FORMER Love Island winner Amber Davies has urged contestants to make long-term career plans because their time in the spotlight will be short-lived.
The singer has gone on to find huge success in West End musical 9 To 5.
She said: “Last year I was anxious watching Love Island as there was another new batch of islanders coming out and I was worried about being old news.
“I used to crucify myself if somebody else had another job over me and you can’t live like that. But then I found musical theatre and I feel like I’m on my own path and my own journey. It’s important to have a good support system. It took two years to get into theatre.”
Promoting Babyliss and Remington hair tools at Argos, Amber added: “I don’t regret anything I did in the villa.
“I’m just glad to have found something that makes me happy.”

Ken she be a big diva like Naomi?
KENDALL Jenner could be turning into Naomi Campbell after the reality TV star apparently threw a diva strop on a night out.
Onlookers told me staff at Somerset House in central London panicked as Kendall demanded special treatment for her pals as she watched singer Rosalia perform.
A source said: “Workers were shocked by how high-maintenance she was.
“Kendall was standing at the side of the stage. When she realised some of her pals were coming, she insisted they have access-all-areas passes. It was a headache for the organisers.
“Kendall and her mates also annoyed the bar staff by moaning about how long it was taking to get their drinks.
“She came across as a diva. The staff and crew nicknamed her ‘snob’.”

Iggy free to pop back for album
IT’S been three years since his last record, and now Iggy Pop is back with a new offering.
The US music legend says his latest album, Free, which is out on September 6, is a big departure for him.
And he admits he almost quit the music industry for good after touring his last album Post Pop Depression.
Iggy said: “I felt drained. I felt like I wanted to put on shades, turn my back and walk away. I wanted to be free.
“I know that’s an illusion, and that freedom is only something you feel, but I have lived my life thus far in the belief that that feeling is all that is worth pursuing.
“It’s all that you need – not happiness or love necessarily, but the feeling of being free.
“So this album just kind of happened to me, and I let it happen.”

Ellie's in da hood
ELLIE Goulding is ready to put up a fight in the new music video for her song Hate Me.
The Brit star worked on the song, which is all about social media and break-ups, with American rapper Juice Wrld.
Lyrics in the single include: “Hate me, hate me/Still tryna replace me/Chase me, chase me/Tell me how you hate me/Erase me, erase me/Wish you never dated me.”
In the video, Ellie wears red hotpants while straddling a giant knife.
I wouldn’t mess with her.

QUENTIN Tarantino has revealed that if JJ Abrams accepts him for the next Star Trek instalment, it would be the last film he directs. He said: “If I was going to do Star Trek I should commit to it. It’s my last movie. There should be nothing left-handed about it.”
IF you think you’re always hearing SNOW PATROL’s song Chasing Cars, you aren’t mistaken. The track has been named the most- played song on UK radio from the past two decades. It’s a classic, but maybe change the record?
IT looks less likely that Woodstock 50 will ever happen after the organisers’ latest plea for a permit for the three-day festival was again rejected. Michael Lang, the founder of the iconic event, first held in 1969, said: “We need to regroup and figure it out.”
AFTER missing out on the role of Elvis Presley in a new biopic, Harry Styles has been approached to play another heart-throb. The One Direction star is in talks to star as Prince Eric in Disney’s live-action remake of classic cartoon The Little Mermaid.
