FOLLOWING Love Island’s latest elimination showdown, Anna and Jordan discussed being in the bottom of the public vote for a THIRD time this series.
Meanwhile, the latest challenge - which saw Islanders reading a number of scandalous headlines about one another - rocked the villa, with Ovie scrutinising India's intentions. Here’s more...
What happened in tonight's episode?
Anna and Jordan sat in the lounge to discuss the latest elimination showdown, and both contestants were stunned that they had found themselves in the bottom of a public vote AGAIN.
Anna stressed that she was in one of the strongest relationships in the villa, and it just didn’t make sense that viewers couldn’t see that.
But Jordan boosted Anna’s confidence by saying she shouldn’t worry about what other people think about their romance - at the end of the day, if they genuinely love one another, that’s all that mattered.
He said: “Don’t worry yourself about what other people think. What is the point in letting it get us down?
“When we get out of here, we’re going to have fun!”
Despite his words of encouragement, however, once Jordan was in the Beach Hut, the model admitted to feeling upset by the fact that he’s found himself being close to receiving the boot on multiple occasions.
“Of course, being in the bottom three isn’t nice. It does upset me but I’m not going to let it get me down,” he clarified.
“I’ve been saved by the Islanders, which is unreal! The majority of people in here love us and that means a lot to me and I know it means a lot to Anna.”
Elsewhere new couple Chris and Harley were sent on a date.
The text read: “Chris and Harley. You are heading out on your first date. Please get ready to leave the villa. #dontbekneady #bakinglove”
During their afternoon date, the couple enjoyed baking their own bread, but it was the conversation they had that seemed to imply the two lacked any sort of chemistry between one another.
The development manager said: “Before I came in here, I said I was looking for someone who I could be best friends with. And I think you’re that person.”
Harley later went on to admit that she didn’t expect to like anybody in the villa, so she’s glad to have met someone as funny as Chris, going on to mention that she always feels comfortable when he’s around her.
Still, it didn’t seem like there was a romance blossoming between the pair.
The Islanders also got a new challenge, Amber received a text revealing they were about to find out who had been hitting the headlines in the latest Love Island challenge.
In the game each headline had blanked out words for the Islanders to fill in to gain points.
The Islanders then had to throw a drink at the person they thought the headline was about.
Curtis correctly guessed a headline which talked about Love Island fans accusing “bored” Molly-Mae of faking her love for Tommy, which absolutely infuriated the social media influencer.
Given that she’s spent the majority of her time in the villa with the boxer, Molly-Mae said: “I’m definitely not bored. If people still think I’m fake at this point, what hope have I got?”
Following the task, the Islanders struggled to forget about the scandalous headlines they were presented with earlier in the day.
After one of the headlines claimed that India was only with Ovie for the sake of earning £50k if she were to win, the basketball hunk shared his concerns while speaking to Amber.
India stressed in the Beach Hut that she wasn’t happy with the fact that Ovie could get the wrong impression of her simply over what the public thought of her, adding that she genuinely cares for the athlete.
She said: “I’m more upset for Ovie. I don’t want him to think that about me or for him to have any doubt in his mind about me. I like him.”
But the biggest issue was raised over Anton and Belle's relationship.
The headline revealed "Love Island Belle isn't Anton's type and is 'not genuine', says his best friend".
Anton was confused over whether Belle really wasn't genuine and she was furious over the allegations.
