Tommy Fury caught ‘lying’ in declaration of love to Molly-Mae on Love Island
TOMMY Fury was caught lying during his declaration of love to Molly-Mae Hague on the Love Island final.
Viewers last night saw the four remaining boys don tuxedos and give moving speeches to their other halves.
The girls glammed up in all their finery for the Summer Ball, and despite writing his words down on some cards beforehand, Tommy, 20, went rogue when he stood in front of his girlfriend Molly-Mae, 19.
The boxer told her: "This isn’t me. I want my heart to speak to you, not my mouth."
He then started to remind his girlfriend of when they first met in the Hideaway's hot tub, but managed to tell a white lie as he did so.
He said: "From the first moment I walked up into the Hideaway, I instantly knew I had seen the most beautiful girl on this entire planet.
"You’re absolutely everything I’ve ever wanted in a girl…"
However, fans of the ITV2 show will remember that Tommy first set his sights on Lucie Donlan, before finding himself in a love triangle with Molly-Mae and Maura Higgins, 28.
After Irish grid girl Maura entered the villa, Tommy admitted his head had done a "560 degree turn" away from Molly-Mae.
He only made his mind up when he was stood at the fire pit for recoupling.
However Molly-Mae - who has been accused of faking her feelings for Tommy throughout the series - didn't seem to remember the reality either, and happily read her declaration to him straight after.
She said: "Tommy. For someone whose career depends on fighting other people, you’re the gentlest person I’ve ever met.
"You’re my best friend and the most incredible dad to our Elly-Belly.
"Thank you for showing me kindness and nothing but pure love every day."
