SHEA'S THE ONE

Love Island winners Amber and Greg pine for each other as they spend third night apart after his return to Ireland

LOVE Island winners Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea have pined for each other on Instagram on their third night apart.

Greg, 24, finally returned to his family in Ireland earlier this week but the new lovebirds showed they haven't forgotten each other as posted identical photos on social media.

Admitting they are feeling the distance, Amber re-posted the snap Greg shared on his story and wrote: "Miss him already!"

Greg had begged Amber to fly home with him to meet his family and friends but she found herself tied up in work commitments.

He told the MailOnline: “I asked her about fifty times to come home with me but she's so busy, everybody in Britain wants a bit of Amber, I'll get her over very soon.”

The hunk also insisted she had nothing to worry about during their time apart, saying:  “I definitely will be faithful, I've always been a one woman kind of guy and Amber is a great girl.

“I’m lucky to come out with her so I can't wait to get her over here to meet my family and friends.

“To use the Love Island phrase, all my eggs are in Amber's basket right now, I'm only looking at her.”

Greg has been spending his time visiting sick fans and children in hospital, as well as heading back to the gym.

Amber meanwhile appeared on This Morning with her mum this week and admitted she was aware their long distance romance wouldn’t be easy.

She admitted she doesn't love Greg yet as she said: "I don't think it's going to be easy, but I think you just put that effort in. If you wanna to make it work, you make it work.

"I'm not stuck in one place, he has to be in Ireland for his rugby but I'm not stuck anywhere. It's an easy commute, just a quick flight."
